While S1 was still active, "Harbinger of the Gilded" Achv was not awarded

I am in full 636/639 gear, both trinkets are “for my class.” Yet I was not given the Achv for “Harbinger of the Gilded.”

I tried all the basic things: unequipping and then equipping all gear again. Swapping both rings (I am NOT using Circe’s Signet). Swapping both trinkets. Logging in and out. Removing shirt/tabards. Nothing works.

This might seem out of place because, as I type this, it’s S2.

But I submitted my initial ticket for this while it was still S1. It just took a few chats with CSRs to get to this point.

When were you supposed to get it?

Ratings for Season 1 will be locked when the season ends at 10:00 p.m. local time the night before the content update on February 25..

It seems 10pm local Feb 24 was the real cut-off for a lot of things and not just PvP ratings.

What kind of nonsense cutoff time is this, Blizzard?

Anyway, I stayed up late to get this and didn’t get it either. See my armory.

It being the cut off “for a lot of things” is not a valid reason, when only ONE of those “lot of things” is listed.

If we have 1, 2, 3, 4 things, and only the #4 thing has a different cut-off time than the generally stated “ends when the servers reset at 10am EST” …

… then 1, 2, 3 should be able to be earned to up and including 9:59am EST.

Blizzard can’t just hide under the blanket of “oh… we meant that, too.”

This is unacceptable.

edit: And not for nothing, but why does one/any item have a different time anyway??

When the servers reset, S1 ends … and S2 doesn’t actually start FOR A WHOLE OTHER WEEK.

Am I really supposed to believe that we have to have one, or a few, systems end X-amount of hours earlier than just ending it when the servers go down?? This is nonsense.

“This stuff ends with Tuesday reset. Except this thing, it ends 3 hours earlier. And this other thing, it ends 7 hour and 5 minutes earlier. And this other other thing, it ends … well, we’re not sure. But if the thing you wanted doesn’t work, we’ll apply it to that.”
