I am approaching 50 and I have pretty much done with Tanaris and Feralas. What are the good starting zones with good gear rewards for a fresh 50 warlock? Thanks.

My friend and I similarly did Tanaris > Feralas. At 50, we went to Hinterlands. After we finish up there, the plan is Un’Goro / Searing Gorge / Felwood. Saving the Plaguelands for after those three.
The thing to keep in mind is doing the lower level zones that can still get you some XP by killing mobs for quests before you find yourself too high-level and out of end-game zones to do and having to grind.

At 50 I went Searing Gorge as well as Un’Goro - also throw in Sunken Temple (plenty of quests too) - Am 53 now and have started pre BRD quests in Burning Steps.

Cant help you with quest rewards but,
Azshara should feature 45-55 stuff
Un’Goro crater 48-55
Felwood 48-55
Blasted Lands 45-55
Western Plague Lands should be 51-58
Did you skip Searing Gorge? 43-50
Edit: for the quest rewards what might help a little and what I might do before heading out to any of those is to skim the Wowhead database for quests in each zone and just look at what level the median quest is and what rewards are offered. You’ll not get everything that way, but a decent impression.

this is actually a pretty good idea I’ll probably do as well! I find it to be pretty inefficient to go to a zone as soon as I can and only be able to do 2 or 3 quests before I have to leave and come back in 2 levels.
@OP: I’m not sure what zones you should do, but I’d recommend clearing out any that are still a little below you but still provide experience. Especially as I hear questing in the 50-60 grind gets slower, so probably better to begin that grind as late a level as possible so you have to mob grind/dungeon grind less.

You can always grind to 60. That way, you get tons of valuable cloth to sell.
