I need something easy to understand, public group friendly, and can be used in all key levels.
I was watching Darkmech but he seem to not have any season 2 mythic + guides available.
Please advise.
Thank you.

Quazii is great. He has a masterclass on every dungeon from tank PoV, along with shorter vids for most dungeons with advanced tips and tricks for them. His website also has basic pug friendly routes for each dungeon and a Plater profile that he customized just for tanking (thereâs a video explaining how to use this and its features on his channel as well). He also streams fairly regularly and is responsive to his chat in stream. Seems like a good dude, and heâs also funny too. Heâs a great starting point for M+ tanking.
Quazii is goat.
Only thing I donât like is that he gives tips that are clearly exploits and I am not a huge fan of exploiting game mechanics. Both because it feels like cheating and because itâs probably against rules. But his masterclass videos explain every mob every pull every ability on trash and from a tank POV.
I like Tactyks
Quazii is the best but he has an accent which can sometimes make him difficult to understand.
Tactycks doesnât have an accent but his videos are not as good.
Nothing quazii says is an exploit - they are all tips most high key runners use. His stuff will not get you in trouble.
Agree with the recommendations so far: quazii, tactyks
Some others: trell, sha, dorki, naowh, dratnos
I think the big thing is to find someone who plays the same class as you so you can pick up tips about optimizing your gear, rotation, play style⌠and also find someone who can walk you through each dungeon to better understand how to best play the tough parts. Several streamers / YouTubers also have UI packs which can be really helpful, especially their weakaura and plater profiles. If you arenât using plater (itâs an addon) as a tank with a season 2 configuration, youâre putting yourself at a severe disadvantage.
So you mean to tell me that when you stand on a specific bone hanging off a piece of meat and the ai for a boss shuts off and does no mechanics thatâs not exploiting?
edit: source for claiming this is exploiting
Cheating in any fashion will result in immediate action. Using third-party programs to automate any facet of the game,
exploiting bugs
, or engaging in any activity that grants an unfair advantage is considered cheating.
edit 2:
exploit definition just in case youâre thinking of another word-
verb
/ikËsploit/
â500 companies sprang up to exploit this new technologyâ
so if youâre saying that standing on that piece of meat that bugs the boss and makes it stop doing mechanics, and that people doing this intentionally and then âmaking full use of and deriving benefit fromâ this action isnât exploiting bugs⌠then my answer to you is⌠âok.â
Quazii for sure!
I especially love those 1 minute guides of his!
Quazii and Dorki do really good tank guides
None in particular. I see video, I click it, skim through it, usually boss mechanics or troublesome adds and exit video and post my key and roll.
Yes, I mean to tell you that standing in a particular spot that is accessible to anyone during a boss encounter is not an exploit. It is utilizing the environment provided by the game to create a pathing challenge for the mob, generally called âline of sightingâ the mob. Creating line of sight issues for mobs and players has been a core game mechanic since wow was released.
If you can point to Blizzard commenting on it negatively, Iâd agree, since they are the definitive source for what is an exploit. Your âsourceâ is just the broad definition of cheating and is not really related to the specifics here, unless Blizzard states that what Quazii is proposing is cheating, which they have not done.
Now, I understand why you might say itâs cheating, as it is not clear - or maybe even intentional - that the bone would cause a line of sight issue, but in the context of this game, Blizzard has created many of these situations through their history and has often not fixed or commented on them, even when they are broadly used. You only need to watch the mythic dungeon event and see how mobs are creatively skipped or snapped to see that Blizzard is generally ok with players figuring out how to use the environment to their advantage.
Occasionally Blizzard does take a negative stance on some creative uses of the environment, such as the recent fix they made to Mythic Zskarn, but even still, Blizzard did not call it an exploit and no one was punished / banned over its use before it was patched.
It literally is an exploit as he described. Will they take action. Hard to ever tell.
Exploit is still such if everyone can do it. Exploit in wow is abuse of an unintended function
You know its cheating, but for some reason you pretend, that because other people use the same exploit - that itâs not.
Whatever you gotta tell yourself to feel better about cheating I guess.
Dorki. Nuff said
Xyxi is a true ethical 2k io gamer
Dorki has some good stuff, itâs not all encompassing though.
Darkmech used to have a good amount but it seems spotty and no longer tank specific.
As others have said Quazii is my new go to. Particularly after his Uncle Roger style video.
Quazii - Is a solid choice
I got 2500 last season and didnât have to exploit to get it.
/shrug
edit:
also inb4 â2500 big whoopâ
itâs top 10% of all players, so I think doing better than 90% of the playerbase is okay. Maybe not as good as you but better than a majority, and all without cheating.
I shrouded my team and used vanish to skip packs and cheese boss mechanics. Definitely cheated.
