So to someone who has never played the Warcraft games… Which one would you all recommend to start out with? Like I want the answer of… What game is most fun. I don’t care too much about playing the story in order
Start with the first one, Orcs and Humans. It’s dated, but still just fun. 2 was a MASSIVE improvement and 3 is an all-time great.

You can start in whatever order you want but starting with 1 is recommended.
Especially with how they added quality of life improvements like multi-unit select and faster game speed.
I would tell them to just start with retail as it is. And then go talk to Chrome and try each expansion for one hour. Whichever one that feels best stick with that one.
