Brew monk, veng dh, or guardian Druid. I literally like each of them almost equally and cannot decide but don’t have the time to keep up on all three… help! Which would be the best tank main with best off specs…
I would recommend Guardian. All of the specs are looking spicy so far, and Balance is one of the top DPS. I personally main Brewmaster and I wish I had chosen Guardian instead.
Druid tanks seem to be in a decently good spot, nothing god tier but also not struggling too much. Have heard mixed things about demon hunters, I don’t monk tank so I don’t follow them.
I’m liking how darn tanks guardian is seeming. It also seems balance and feral are fairly decent
Vengeance Demon Hunter is the strongest of those three tanks right now, especially for M+. However, Havoc is in probably the worst spot its ever been.
Brewmaster Monks are extremely strong as well, I personally play one and highly recommend it. Windwalker isn’t terrible, but it’s not especially amazing either IIRC.
Bear Druids feel like the weakest of the three tanks, but have the strongest off-specs, with Boomkin being almost S Tier for DPS and Resto Druid while not being as strong as it traditionally is, is still solid.

I have a dh tank an it is not bad, not great either for me. Dh just seem lacking in something i can’t describe.
My druid tank is doing pretty good. It is not having a ton of problems. Druids just need more health or regeneration need buff. In my opinion .

I didn’t realize boomie was doing that good right now. I’m thinking either guard or brew now. I think veng is fun but havoc is just… I dunno. Can’t get into it.
For those that play guard are you having fun?
Druid gets mount speed in the Maw.
That in itself is enough to roll one.

I’m thinking you’re right about the maw mount speed buff. It’s horrendous walking in there.

Most Druids I know are pretty happy with where the class is, even Feral Druids (though they’re just happy to be here, I think).
Like Bullet said though, Maw speed boost is a pretty big QoL feature of the class, though come next week with Infinite Torghast opening up and everyone getting reliable access to a mount that works in the Maw, that won’t be as important.

Really wanting to tank and feel sturdy. I’m now leaning towards brew or guardian.
The biggest problem with Monk is that it is the least played class in the game, and that is represented in the attention that Blizz pays to it.
They will literally let entire Monk specs rot for an entire expansion because lets face it…if Hunters/Paladins are bad and people start leaving…that’s REAL MONEY GOING OUT THE DOOR! FIX IT NOW!!!
Monks are like a buck-fiddy given the low player count. They don’t care.
DH is the most fun and has the best DPS of the 3 you mention but seem to be the squishiest of the 3 unless you’re running fiery brand with the proper legendary. They are probably the best for M+ in terms of efficiency.
Guardians are literal tanks and feel like they can take quite the beating with a great toolkit to handle big damage spikes, but lack significant DPS (compared to the other 2).
Monk seems like a nice compromise between the 2, with good mobility and decent damage as well as smooth damage intake. If choosing only between these 3, brewmaster would be my choice.
These are just my opinions playing each class in M+… I much prefer my prot pally to all of them though.
Windwalker and Mistweaver? Definitely no disagreements here.
But I would argue that Brewmaster is one of the most well maintained tanks and has consistently remained A tier for a large chunk of the games life (or well, at least since they’ve been released).
In terms of Monks, Blizzard have pretty much put all their eggs in the Brewmaster basket, whereas V DH has been traditionally neglected in favour of Havoc and Bears in favour of Resto and to a lesser degree Boomkin.
I wish I could’ve gotten into the prot pally, but for whatever reason they didn’t gel with me. I think it’s the lack of movement. I’ve heard such great things, though, such as their dps.
Druid. We are the tanky boys/girls with leggo. You cant compete with having four specs either
DH is in a weird spot, they are S-tier for M+ but the second Worst in Raids. Prot Warriors are the worst in both.

Tank needs to be fast in a pug environment because most pugs will get tired of waiting and pull for you.
So Brewmaster and Demon hunter
Brewmaster is a great tank, but they cannot self heal worth anything. This applies when you have a crappy healer, if you are soloing hard content in pve or guarding areas in pvp.
Demon hunter self heals like a pro…
My vote goes to demon hunter. Plus I would never, ever play a druid without the mage tower bear skin.
