Which specs gonna be favored in Shadowlands

I can’t think of something to play in Shadowlands . I play these classes atm ( DK, DH, Priest, Lock , rogue , Mage and paladin ). Which one is safe to pick ? Any suggest is appreciated ,thanks.

Whichever you find the most fun out of all of the ones you play would be the safe pick.

Can’t go wrong with mage

Lock, Rogue and Mage are usually safe picks. Locks may take some time to scale up before they start getting strong. Priest may not be as safe sometimes but so far it is looking to be pretty strong in SL (Disc and Shadow).

As it has been since MoP : Frost DK. And with 2h frost coming back, I’m even more convinced of my choice. I can finally play with Shadowmourne transmog

i want to play 2-hand frost too, but i saw many people complaining about recent nerf on Obliterate and i’m confusing to play Frost or not.

I understand, but I never base my main choice on the current state of the spec. When it comes to balance, nothing stays the same for very long.

I play what I feel is fun and I do not care about DPS rankings and numbers.

Do your personal preference, or sense of fun, have no sway in the matter at all?

I’m not mocking or trolling, I have just never understood why people don’t play what THEY like to play.

Warlock. My friends who main warlocks keep telling me how OP they are going to be in SL and keep telling me to abandon my hunter and main a lock

gonna say rogue, mage, warrior, hunter, demon hunter.

Flavor of the month comes and goes pick whatever you believe is fun

You’re in for quite a disappointment after those huge nerfs to 2H Frost earlier this week.

Mage, Rogue, Lock. 3 dps specs for each class. At least one spec will be in solid shape.

If you’re looking for flavor just look up DPS rankings and check out places like Icy-Veins. It’s always subject to change with tuning until release but you will at least know which classes are performing in S-tier category and avoid picking a broken class that you end up feeling like you wasted your time with.

Affliction warlocks are going to be insane early on, they are going to be drain tanks. People who are re rolling for that, if be cautious. It will get nerfed, hard.

As I said…

So you want FoTM? If you enjoy a spec and learn it well you can keep up and maintain numbers, maybe even perform better than others.

Safe picks are always going to be, Rogue/Mage/Hunter, as those ones seem to always have a Spec that is in the Top Tier. So if you enjoy playing one of those, Rogue in my case, play that.
