Enhance is gonna be my main in SL and my plan is to try to stick with melee DPS when making a group. I like their aggression, raw damage and shutdown ability. I’m aware that ranged is highly favored right now and that only encourages me to push melee harder.
But I don’t understand and would like to learn how Windfury Totem specifically benefits different classes.
Obviously arms warrior probably benefits the most through rage generation and subsequent cooldown reduction.
But what other classes benefit from extra auto attacks and in what ways?
Rogues will get extra poison procs. Not sure what else.
Hunters dont benefit at all currently
How about any DK specs or Ret? What would they get from a 10% chance for a second auto-attack? Windwalker?
Does anyone generate resources from auto attacking other than warriors?
There are some small windows where Hunters might auto attack, but those are very rare, and only because other things are on CD.
I mean every likes more AA no matter what they are
Weapon enchants, mild passives, flat out extra damage
I’m UH and would still like it just to keep fallen crusader up even more
Is it a chance on hit for 15% more strength and 6% heal? PPM affected by windfury? That could be good if affected by Windfury. Hell yeah
Frost DK definitely benefits from Windfury due to how Killing Machine works (procs off auto attack crits). Sub Rogues also see some very minor benefits because of Shadow Technique (chance to generate energy and a combo point on auto attack).
There are probably some more.

Outlaw Rogues love Windfury Totem, it makes melee go into their top 3 if not making it their highest damage output
