I’m thinking of turning back to my warlock after quite a long break. She was the first one I ran through shadowlands and I guess I miss it. When I did that I ran primarily as Aff but I’m hearing some good things about the other specs! I would want to get her into mythic + at some point, and wreak havoc on korthia in the meantime.
Is Aff still in a good spot? Demo seems like so much fun so I’m curious about that as well. I’ve read conflicting opinions on locks place in keys and a few disliking the other specs current style so I’m just curious if that’s still the standard.
It’s pretty bad but what matters if you enjoy playing it! Seed is good in m+ but feels very one dimensional your single target will be bad. Demo pets have some bugs. Destro is trolling.
It’s a rough time to ask this question as we’re setting our sights on the horizon, which is 9.2.
For 9.2 I think Demo is currently looking the most promising.
Aff is fine. It’s probably the definition of that word. Middle of the pack.
Destro out performs in M+.
Demo seems to be more popular on some raid fights and PVP.
But the Warlock specs are all hovering around together IMO.
You should read up on the 9.2 changes, looking at things like tier set bonuses, and make a decision based on what sounds cool.
All 3 specs are doing well. And all 3 have something to complain about Demo is the best at single target. Destro is obviously the king of 2 target and does well in keys up to 15’s. Aff struggles till then because everything dies too quickly but overtakes destro very quickly in higher keys. Just play what you enjoy because everything will change again very soon. And, even though it sounds like a cliche, they all do fairly well in all content.
I explained why Warlocks were balanced, your response is worthless.
What makes you say Warlocks are currently in an unbalanced state?
Because you don’t parse #1 on all 3 specs?
Because your favorite spec of the 3 isn’t blowing away the competition?
I am 60. If you click on my profile there will be a 6 followed by a 0. That means I’m level 60.
And no, I didn’t hit 60 today.
PS this is a brand new account, I’ve just moved from EU.
You’re trying to attack my character to escape actually contributing anything meaningful, and you can’t even vet the very base piece of information about my character correctly.
With all that said, I always find that the people that can’t actually have a conversation from the get go don’t usually grow up.
This is why kids sit at a separate table, people trying to talk and you’re here slinging spaghetti around.
