Which Spec Has The Best Visuals / Sound Effects

If I’m going to be spending hundreds of hours with a new main i don’t want to play something that has bad looking spells or sound effects.

So which spec do you guys think has the best all around look to it??

I will have to be impartial and say Destruction Warlocks have the best visuals.

The new spell animations for Rain of Fire, Incinerate and Chaos Bolt are so pretty and so big that it makes me feel like a god raining rivers of fire upon my enemies.

Also if you take the Fire and Brimstone talent you turn into the world’s most amazing flamethrower.

I think the Warlock spell revamps this xpac have looked really cool, no matter the spec. Affliction you might not like as much because it’s mostly DOTS, but overall they look really cool

For visuals I am a sucker for Mage, Warlock and Shaman. We have the best visuals in the game.

The correct answer is shaman. both ele and especially enh shaman feel and look like youre destroying the world when you attack.

I personally love enh but ele is far better right now

As mentioned above, I think destruction warlock looks pretty awesome.

My other vote goes to shaman, all three specs. They have wonderful visuals and their spells and abilities have audio effects that feel impactful. For example with enhancement, rockbiter has this great blunted ~thud~ sound effect which makes you feel like you’re hitting your target with a boulder. Restoration, you feel like you’re really infusing your party members with restorative waters to cure them. And elemental, oh it is so satisfying to hear that lightning sound.

Fire mage, Destruction Warlock, Demonlogy Warlock, Elemental Shaman, and Balance Druid off the top of my head. Just pure spectacle. It’s kind of amazing really.

Ok but out of mage, shammy and warlock which has the best survivability?

It’s not for everyone, seen people complain about them, but I honestly like the monk visuals and sfx. The sounds actually sound impactful and the visuals are neat without being over the top. … Of course, now I’m playing my hunter not my monk.

No. Incinerate looks like Looney Toons dynamite. Chaos Bolt looks pretty cool…for a green spaghetti meat ball. :slight_smile:

They are all about even but on my personal view I lean to Warlock. Warlock has some good stuff including a pet to take the aggro off you.

ele has the best visuals imo. then demo is pretty great too and demo you get a pet to protect you and health stones to heal yourself. my main is a warlock but i have 2 120 ele shaman alts. (also have 2 120 demo warlocks lol)

Sound effects wise, nothing beats the sickening thud of a fury warriors rampage hitting its target.

Paladin. And don’t say otherwise, or Pallies get all jelly.

I think shadow has some pretty interesting yet subtly cool things. Like shadow priests only being able to /whisper or /say in Shath’Yar (language of the old gods) during voidform. On the same theme you hear void whispers whenever casting any shadow spells. The amount of purple does get somewhat cloying, but as far as any spec being very thematically cohesive, I think shadow priest is near the top.

Warlocks have awful graphics. Can’t stand it.

Priest/Mage/Paladin for best spell effects.
