Which soulbinds are you using for ret/prot?

Title has the question in it.

I’m quite enjoying my 2 minutes of +120 mastery from Plague Deviser Marileth as a ret paladin. the bonus for aberrations could be buffed back up to 5% armor from 2.5% without it breaking anything.

You’re a necrolord?? You might be the first one I’ve seen in game or on the forums lol

I think in another post in General discussion about Covenants there’s a small margin of Necrolord paladins, with the notable population of a whole 300 holy paladins that chose the covenant.
its a lot better for Ret than it is for Prot or Holy. which might explain why I’m still sticking to ret over playing multiple specs atm.

Venthyr at the moment. For the most part I use Theotar for the bonus mastery. Even if it’s more RNG based it seems to be up much more often when I need it than Nadjia. As far as PvP is concerned, though, I’ve been using Draven RN. I appreciate getting the small bursts of movement speed in BGs and it’s humorous to imagine that in AB style maps I get one last “f-you!” after I die when the statue shatters after they’ve already started capping the flag.

Once the last few nodes unlock, though, I’ll be going back to Theotar for the foreseeable season.

As for Kyrian Pelagos is just downright the best, no question. I want to play with Mechanikos, but the consistent damage boost is hard to ignore.

I agree. I’m kyrian and thinking about doing kleia for prot and pelagos for ret

Wanting to see if what are other paladins are doing

I have to ask as I’ve been dying to know, does Move as One work with Unbound Freedom when casting Hand of Freedom on others?

I’m Kyrian, like most pallys.

Pelageo is my go to for ret, as combat meditation is very strong, even if Focusing Mantra is useless if you want to go double potency.

Kleia for Holy. Sometimes I run Kleia as ret in 2s as well against double dps, but I haven’t really found it to be that great in 3s.

I haven’t experimented much with Mikanikos, but there is a very good possibility that it’s the way to go once the last line of soulbinds is unlocked, as it looks very strong.

which last option would you go for? the haste one seems nice but its only when a new target is hit to gain more haste

I can’t say for certain. Even if it did, though, it’s only a 10% ms so it’d be hard to notice

I’m a venthyr, and I just switched over to Theotar for the 525 mastery buff. But before, with Nadjia, I was definitely enjoying that haste but as well. According to WoWHead, Theotar does slightly better than Nadjia does, and so for this reason I switched over.

Between that and attempting to fix my gear (I’m far from it, just for in case you decide to take a peek) so that it’s more of a haste/Mastery build, I think he’s a good fit into how mastery works for us anyways.

I run Pelagos for my Ret spec, and Kleia for Prot. Since Kleia is more team oriented I did not have a issue running Prot with her. I have the second pointency open now, so it feels good.

For Ret Pelagos is the best goto. The buff to mastery and pointency choices at 6 gives you good offensive power.
