Which server?

My buddy and I wanna get set on a server and level before tbc comes out but we don’t know which server to pick. We want to play horde and we want a solid pvp server to play on. What would you guys recommend? A good balanced server would be preferred but if we can’t get on a good one that does raiding as well we will settle.

This does not exist in TBC. Everyone that pvps are in arena’s. World PVP is really none existent for the most part. So really doesn’t matter what server your on. Rather be on a small server that you can easily obtain mats.

Well that’s unfortunate. I’d like to at least be on a solid raiding server then so I don’t want one too small

COME TO RATTLEGORE SO I CAN 1 SHOT YOU.

YOU FILTHY ORC!

Also, Liliel, TONS OF wPVP in TBC. What are you smoking? There was always a good fight to be had capping towers in Hellfire.

My server is Benediction which is an east coast server and is slightly skewed towards the alliance, but is mostly balanced like 55-45. There are lots of raid groups and reroll guilds cropping up now with the tbc announcement.

Don’t need to be on a pvp server to do this.

Only partially true. There is usually a healthy amount of pvp going on at Netherwing Ledge dailies, Nagrand for the Elemental Plateau access, and Karazhan.

Other than that? Yeah it’ll be dead cause people can just flight bomb into instances so won’t be realistically attackable.

Oh ok cool I’ll check it out.

Does it really matter how much the server raids as long as you get a guild that raids as much as you want?

Well it would matter if that guild dies or something so that’s why it’s nice to have options

Start here: WoW Classic Server population (ironforge.pro)

Then preferably find the Discords for these servers and see if you like the community feel. The thing is that it’s probably going to change when TBC comes out, but this is the most solid way of looking around.

The high pop servers will probably have queues come TBC and lots of layering but they are an option.

I love my server but I don’t want to just say “come here”. It’s best for you to look into options. Each server has it’s own personality.

Server pops will change, but I wouldn’t recommend you roll on a low pop server unless you like that type of server. Just rolling there because mats are easier to obtain is not a good idea.

I didnt say you had to be on a PVP server. Just said come to Rattlegore so I can continue crushing the horde.

Uhh…what?

A “solid pvp server” IS in fact a thing in tbc.

Regardless of your claim of world pvp being nonexistent in tbc (not true). There is still a HUGE reason why you would want a “good” or “solid” pvp server.

That reason:

Playerpool

You cant be successful in arena if the only people you can play with on your server suck at pvp

Grobb will probably be solid, and bring all types. Since it’s the big RP-PVP server. RP isn’t massive on it, but it’s there enough to where people can have fun and not just be a bunch of raid loggers. I’d be suprised if no World PVP would happen on there just due to the community wanting it.

For horde I’m actually going to recommend Grob or Faerlina.
