Which race has the most interesting progression (quests)?

I’m going to really enjoy progression in classic. The story line was great in Vanilla. One of the main criteria choosing the race is the storytelling path it’ll bring to the character.
However, I find that different races are given different paths, and not all of them are equally interesting.
For example I really like undead story for the Horde. But I do find gnome/dwarfs to be boring.

What do you think are the interesting races progressions out there (Horde/Aliance)? Does that matter for you when choosing the race for the Classic?

Most quests you can do as any race, so it hardly matters if you pick that 1. That said, I think undead is the obvious winner. Duskwood is fantastic though, almost worth rolling an alt for even if you’re not alliance.

Undead, easily.

How about Aliance?

Night Elves for Alliance.
Undead for Horde

Really just a matter of preference, but I have always loved the night elf zones and lore for alliance side. For horde, I enjoy the tauren the most.

My thoughts exactly.

That being said, Duskwood is pretty awesome regardless of how you get there for Alliance.

You make me play Nelf priest)

Well I don’t know about the lore, because I never read quest text, but I know there’s some zones I sure don’t want to miss : Westfall and the Barrens.

As for the starting zones, Teldrassil and Elwynn Forest are the best, even compared to Horde side.

And the best 20+ zones imo are Ashenvale and Stonetalon.

So basically just go Night Elves, and once you’re level 12 go to Westfall, then come back to Kalimdor for level 20+.

If you’ve never done it, especially in Westfall, read it this time. There is a storyline there that adds so much to the game.
