I have become an alt-aholic. I’m so jealous of people who are able to stick to one character for years upon years!
With that being said, do you love the class more and just pay for race changes? Or do you actually love the race and just toughed it out with whatever class spec you chose when you created your race/class character?
I’m weird in that I love the druid class, and Night Elves, but I prefer to play on Horde faction. I also don’t like the druid storylines or the general ‘tree hugging’ stigma that goes with it. I just wish I could play any race and say that I’m a druid because of the cool shape shifting powers and combat style. I supposed I could do that on an RP server, but most (if not all) of them like to RP the actual canon/fantasy part of it.

Me too, I love alts! I play MM Hunter the most, but all races. I guess my most frequent race is either night elf or gnome.

Hunters are by far my favorite class so I have one of each Horde race to 60. I also have a 60 nelf and gnome, 58 mechagnome and a 50 Kul Tiran, Velf and LF Draenei. Oh and a 40 panda.
My Alliance toons are just there for the heritage armor achievement and mount farming.
Tauren and HM Tauren are my favorite race so I made a point of having one of each class to 120 (then 50). I almost have them all to 60. Hunter, DK, Paladin, Warrior, Shaman and HMT Druid is done. My Tauren Druid is level 57. My Priest and two Monks are 51-53. I’ll be changing my 60 Rogue and Mage to a tauren and I have a deleted Mage, Rogue and Priest I’ll be restoring then race changing to HMT as soon as 10.0 drops.

I mostly just play this character. I prefer to invest my time into a single character. Legion was the only expansion where I enjoyed trying new characters because of all the class halls content.

Most of my characters are undead and my most played class is probably warlock, with druids not far behind.

I’m genuinely shocked that there’s even a question of gnomes being the winner for you!
As for me, I do my best to make sure all of my alts are as diverse as possible, but I’ve mained this character for 18 years so I suppose NE priest is my most played.

When they make orc Druids, they should have comically large shoulder decorations on their bear and cat models.
Every one of them has unremovable Tusks of Mannoroth.

It really changes from one expansion to another, and sometimes within an expansion itself. Each expansion has a story which may or may not fit in with my character’s stories. For instance in BfA on Alliance side I played my Human Paladin and Warlock a lot because they grew up in Darnassus, and their mom was still living there when it burned. One sought the truth behind what happened, the other sought revenge in PvP.
I started Shadowlands with two Death Knights who both reasoned that as beings with one foot on either side of the curtain between life and death, they were more suited to lead the charge into the unknown. Eventually they introduced others from their families, literal and figurative, to the Shadowlands, who eventually took the lead.

Orcs and Draenai not being able to be demon hunters is a crime.
My mains between vanilla up until patch 9.2 were a night elf hunter and a night elf rogue, so I guess I mostly played night elves. If we’re going strictly off of played time, hunter is still my most played class even though I swapped to the rogue at the end of WoD.

Human paladin, reasons are actually quite simple, that’s what I’d like to be if I was in World of Warcraft. 
I don’t play races or classes because one is stronger or another got nice racial traits, only what feels the most “right” for me so I don’t have alts.

I do love nature even though I’m a meat eater. But nature makes me relax. Weather it is at a pond, in a forest, or wherever, i love the birds chirping, the sound of water and wind.
My favorite race is Night Elf for its incredible lore and characters. My favorite characters are Malfurion and Illidan and thats why i did play one ever since I started playing WoW. But now I’m on Horde because I felt like Alliance were dying at the point of my decision and I wouldn’t get anything in chat at all. It could be my realm was a medium populated but there were still loads of players playing. Also, my guild would not answer me at all when I ask for anything so that made me decide to switch.
I do like Taurens though, one of the coziest races in WoW to play as but I prefer Night Elf. That is why we need Cross Faction guilds.
