Now that the roll out of Classic has settled down and the servers have begun shaping up, what PvP server should I roll on? I’m looking for the one that has a good faction balance and lots of good WPvP. I don’t care about the toxicity of the community. I’ve been playing for 15 years and am of the firm belief that this is a toxic community game regardless. I just want to be able to have some fun doing WPvP. Any suggestions from the peanut gallery?
Blaumeux seems to have pretty good balance and PvP from my experience.

Grobbulus (RP-PvP) and Blaumeux (PvP) seem to have the most balanced A:H ratio.
Sulfuras and Benedictine seem to be pretty healthy. Anecdotally Sulfuras feels like it has a slight Horde advantage but that might just be because I’m spending time in Horde advantaged contested zones.
Thunderfury is almost 50/50 very healthy population

Rattlegore!! It’s like a warzone during the evening/night. I get so raged, but I love it.

Thanks for the info guys. Any of the servers mentioned anything like how Mxglory describes Rattlegore? I want a server where there is some active and fun pvp going on.
Incendius is 55% horde 45% alliance, which sounds far worse than it actually is. The contested zones are all actually contested, and the faction battles that break out don’t tend to favor one faction over the other in a noticeable skew (beyond horde having the advantage of better PvP racials generally). Brawls break out in STV, the Badlands, and Tanaris quite frequently on this server, often due to competition for resources and quest mobs rather than random ganking.
There’s not one. Every pvp server is horde dominated by at least 60-40(except maybe Grobb, but it’s a RP-PVP and Pacific time server) There will be cross-realm bgs(or cross battlegroup?) and I’m assuming PVE servers will be mixed in as well(Alliance dominated). So there is honestly no incentive to play Alliance on a pvp server, because even though you might have a 10 minute BG queue as horde instead of 1 min, the ability to just go out into open world and quest just as safely as if you were on a pve server makes it ezmode.
Edit - Literally any zone above 30 you go to on a pvp server the horde WILL outnumber you. You will be forced to group up(which isn’t a bad thing), because if they see you solo, its like blood in the water due to

They are thirsty for pvp because they never see Alliance(most are forced to dungeon grind because the time you lose being ganked questing in the contested zones makes the xp/h terribad)

Even if you kill them(they might die once a day) they have no fear of being ganked over and over and over and over again due to shear numbers advantage, so their leveling speed will not be hindered.
Literally Thunderfury is the greatest pvp server on classic wow NO EXCEPTION.

Healthy as far as faction balance - sure, kinda. Healthy as far as psychologically and mentally - no.

Source for this claim of 50-50? I’ve done a few searches and found reports of about 65-35 at best.
It’s not really. More like 5 : 3.5 Horde, which comparatively speaking is not bad.
Generally speaking, PVP servers historically and currently tend to be Horde dominated.
For Horde, there are no pvp servers. All servers are PVE easy mode.
Anyone who just got killed once by Alliance when they decided to get a raid going out of frustration, who thinks otherwise - shut it.

I have, many years experience in Vanilla/BC/LK and months experience in subsequent xpacks and around a year of private server experience.
By far the most chilled experience I had in the world was during LK. I played Orc throughout it and I think I got attacked first once. This was not on freaking Silver Hand. It was on Tich. Considered to be the premier PVP server. Please. As Horde, I was on a PVE server when I felt like it and on a PVP server when I didn’t.

That’s just incorrect. Not every PVP server is Horde dominated and until Blizz broke the census, there was proof as such.
Benediction, for one, is alliance favored. Ever so slightly, but it exists. Heartseeker is also shaping up to be Alliance favored currently.

Blaumeux is essentially 1:1.
The vast majority of pvp servers are and were always Horde dominated, except KT. So yeah, whatever your opinion is, you are wrong. Even if you agree with me, you guessed it - you are wrong. I am however, right.

What is wrong with gamers today?! Focus!! All I wanted was peoples’ opinions on which PvP servers were balanced and fun to WPvP on. I swear, Even the older gamers act like children on these forums. Thanks for your opinions and boo to those of you who followed the usual WoW forum process of trolling each other over subjects completely off topic and not the focus of the original question.
