Which Profession You Going?

And why? I can’t decide because so many look useful and fun. Maybe BS and mining with an emphasis in weapons… hard to say : / how about you?!

I have my hunter doing LW and skinning, paladin is on enchants and inscription, and this evoker is doing herbalism and alchemy. That should keep me self sufficient enough. :dracthyr_blob_dance_animated:

Hunter will be engineering and skinning. Hoping the profession equipment becomes transmog in a patch. They have the best looking equipment imo.

Will be doing alot of gathering and probably doubling up on my 47 alts. I figure it will take 6 weeks to get them all to 70 and professions maxed and then the real fun begins.

Gardening and Pottery.

With Painting and Cajun-specced Cooking as my secondaries.

My hunter is engineering and enchanting atm. I’ll thinking about dropping both and going herbalism and skinning. There are tons of crafters in my guild so I’ll get my stuff made from them and sell the rest for profit.

as always engineering

All of them.

Things may change once I actually get into the expansion, but I’m expecting my endgame to be basically trying to slowly grind out all professions to max across as many characters as I have time to play.

(I am not expecting to make any gold though - I’m anticipating supply will far exceed demand in the items I’ll be able to craft while spreading my time across several characters this way)

Has anyone seen any new benefits to engineering? In the past I have used it primarily for rocket boosts and glider/parachute, but I haven’t looked at the new recipes coming.

Determined to actually stick with Enchanting this time. I’ve never really put much time into professions but dammit I wanna actually do it this time.

:joy: I hear you there Gram. Enchanting is nice to DE drops you don’t need later on that’s for sure.

inscription, I believe in the heart of the cards!

and then after 10.0 I’ll just pretend like the profession isn’t worthless.

My LW/Skinner, and will probably also use one of my miner/herbalist to do some gathering for fun and profit.

As usual, Engineering appears to be the bottom of the list for useful proffs this expansion. They just cant seem to figure out ways to make it useful.

Got PTSD with JC being a pita in Classic, I forgot how it is here.
Just gonna Alc/Scrip/Herb/Mine again since it’s fun and things sell well.

JC was actually intriguing, but I’m not sure how plentiful gem slots will be this xpac? I primarily PvP, and at least in shadowlands I had rare opportunities for gemming my gear. Hopefully it will be different in DF!

Tailoring and blacksmithing.

Engineering is a must because you can’t pvp without goggles

Second profession i’m a bit torn, this pally probably blacksmith because plate things

Alt pally jc and ??

Rogue is engi and enchanting

No idea for evoker, probably mining

I wish we could have 3 proffs

Engineering and mining
Engineering cause Vemithra is my main and engineering is super beneficial
Mining cause it’ll help cut costs on engineering as no matter what I’m gonna have to rely on other professions for materials but most materials come from mining and it benefits from the Dracthyr perception racial

Mining/jc because ive never done them and sockets!
