Which playable race has the comfiest, cosiest, safest starting zone or spawn location?

Which playable race starts in the cosiest, safest spawning location?

Pandaren starts on a cozy spot on the Wandering Isle. But sadly, as the story progress, you can’t return to that spot even if you didn’t change your hearthstone location manually.

The Earthen starts of in a huge chamber but it feels cold, no warmth due to the nature of the race itself and the spawn location.

HM Tauren starts off in Thunder Totem, a really cozy place. But unfortunately, from time to time that place is attacked by Demon through the Demonic Invasion event which ruins the mood AND the background music.

So, which playable race would you say spawns at the cosiest, safest space that they could return to anytime?

Isnt the monk class hall there?

But I think the answer is really night elf

I’m not a Blood Elf fan, but I can’t deny that Eversong Woods doesn’t look like a nice place to live.

You are right but not all Pandaren are monks.

Right also, but I have to move the goal post due to lore wise, the tree is destroyed and a war crime happened there.

Then Guilneas because its safe already.

O yes definitely, I wonder how Midnight would change that though!

I feel that too! I hope it will be a real in game capital city in Midnight! Besides, we get a toy to return there as a worgen after the completion of the reclamation quest! Great point!

I wager a lot of the zone will go from cool reds, oranges, and yellows to a significant amount of purple.

But at least that bronze dragon will always be there to showcase what it used to look like.

I wonder would “old” eversong would be preserved through Bronze dragon in Midnight.

Humans start literally 10 feet away from their capital.

So it’s kind of insane an orcish incursion occurs right there.

By orc standards, the valley of trials would feel like a very safe place to return too. Maybe it seemed rough for the new blood, but I could see it bringing a smile to a veteran visitor.

Palia.

now, imagine if human actually spawns inside the abbey instead of front of its entrance. I have to agree to this point as well, esp being able to fly between stormwind and the spawn location as early as level 10.

How accessible is that game? I want to glide around, bad.

OK this inspire me to just sit and relax in the Valley of Trial with the background music on. I feel that the Valley of Trial and Anvilmar have the best starting zone background music.

The Tauren of Mulgore have a pretty sweet set up there.

Tauren, hands down. I freaking love Mulgore. On Classic, I occasionally fly back to Bloodhoof Village and Camp Narache on my tauren druid to reminisce on when that toon was a noob. The whole zone has a down to earth, cozy vibe. I am definitely biased though since my formative WoW years were spent playing tauren characters.

I think my favorite starting zone was Gilneas.
