That isn’t an answer to my question.
Why did they not update the roof that is glass in the cutscene to have shattered glass and fallen in stone after the cutscene?
For me, it feels good to talk about her and things I like, because now I no longer to pretend I’m an alliance fan. I can relax and talk about the worgen, sylvanas and such from a much more relaxed position.
Feels like a lot of weight has been lifted of my shoulders, pretending to like a faction you never liked takes a toll on how you interact with others. Feels good that’s all over with
The Alliance is not all bad. There is a lot there. It just tends to focus on the Human Knight fantasy, to the detriment of the other aesthetics. But I think the Alliance is being primed for big drama.
Night Elf fans have carved out their own niche, to where they can almost be seen as separate. Dwarf fans love all things Dwarf, and the Warcraft Dwarves have been steadfast members of the Alliance. Worgen and Gnomes and Draenei also have their own unique appeal.
I have a hard time playing Alliance. I mostly do it to see if they have differences in the story. Void Elves make it tolerable. I actually like playing Humans in most fantasy games, but Warcraft’s Playable Humans and Kul Tirans are a bit bulky for me. If they let us use a skinnier human version, I would consider playing a Human as an Alt.
Anyway, the Alliance is ripe for some drama. I can see a situation where :
Turalyon and Alleria are going overboard, and taking the Alliance down a dark path. Pushing war on the Horde and kicking their butt all over the map. The Dwarves and Draenei would back them, out of loyalty. But maybe Genn and Jaina are the fringe minority trying to maintain peace.
The Night Elves might keep to themselves in Hyjal, and wouldn’t get involved until the end to break the stalemate. They are happy that the Horde is getting beat up on other fronts, leaving Night Elf lands in peace. But eventually Alleria and Turalyon go too far, and the Night Elves have to step in and help Genn and Jaina save the Alliance and the Horde.
If Alliance Players got a choice path in that scenario, I am sure many would side with Alleria and Turalyon, even if it was broadcasted upfront they were going to be the “bad” team in the end.
For me, I just wish the worgen got more screen time. Doesn’t help I wasn’t a big alliance fan to begin with. I’m relaxed and feeling good, so that’s all that matters in the end
Because they don’t.
I’m not a dev, I’m not the right person to direct this question to.
okay but then why’d you tell me it was headcanon?
did I?
I just said that complaining the world isn’t updated doesn’t negate canon story. It would be nice if they did update the zones to reflect what happens every expansion but Blizzard can’t even get a completed expasion out most years so I think it’s asking a bit too much of them.
Maybe if they manage to produce a finished product once and a while I might actually hold them accountable to update zones in a timely manner. Until then, we will all have to suspend our disbelief.
Devs are dumbies sometimes.
dummies? yes, sometimes they are.

I got curious and they updated even more than I had remembered them updating. I really don’t know why they didn’t just have her fly out the front door if they weren’t gonna change the outside of the castle dome.
Simple, theatrics.
It made for a cooler cinematic.
It’s not like her banshee form is bound by normal physics after all. She could literally float through any solid material in her ghostly form
Afrasiabi was the Saurfang guy who villainbatted Sylvanas. Danuser is known for taking photos with a glorified anime statue and tweeting about his portly resemblance to Nathanos’ human recolor of a model. Did you actually think you were being honest here?
That’s stupid BFA lore, the same reason all undead elves are now “Darkfallen” and the blight now raises the dead. The whole idea of the banshee form, even in older Golden stuff, was her physically leaving her body behind as a limp husk she’d have to recover later.
BfA had a lot of stupid moments. Shadowlands just piled on and made everything worse off than it already was
The Alliance has not one but TWO races explicitly working for the Void. They have both the Void Elves and the Dark Iron Dwarves. I would like to see the Dark Iron to force a bit of a coup amonst the Dwarves, shake them up a bit. we haven’t gotten any good Dwarf content in a while.
There must be a reason the Dark Iron were front and centre content in 9.2.5
