The LK dungeon hero one is totally soloable except the rhino bit.
that gets you a proto drake.
lol that god damn rhino bit… ugh really need to get into a guild to run that bit… so annoying. lol.

also while im here why in the appearances sets tab does it say the method of acquisition is just “vendor” for some sets and weapons, which vendor would that be and where are they? does it depend?? where do i find that info? thanks besties

It does indeed. Id google the item and see what sells it. Might be a currency that was unique to the expac.
It’s faulty information for the most part, some of them used to have tokens that dropped in raid that you traded for a vendor but I don’t think any of them work anymore, the tier just drops in the raid.
As for which ones are soloable I honestly have no idea despite having done most of them, but check the WoWhead comments for each meta-achievement and someone will probably say.
I just went through and did everything I could and returned with others if I needed them.

Not Legion’s, though it would be nice if it was.
If any of them are, most of them require specific classes to be able to solo them. And other are just straight up impossible, like the egg one on ji-kun.
Although thinking back, I dunno if defeating Ji-kun before the egg drops counts as keeping the egg intact, or you absolutely need to grab it in order for the achievement to count. As I got ji-kun mount, I never bothered going past horridon on any of my alts.
After probably months of tries I managed to solo the egg achievement on ji-kun. Using a hunter(but I’m assuming any class with dots would work) you dot the boss, hop off the platform at 10 seconds fly up, catch and fall and hopefully if you took off enough damage so that your dot kills him before dropping the egg, you win.
Need to do it nearly gearless at max level and auto attack to whittle the health bar down at pull a little.
It takes tuning of the right amount of damage and practice catching the egg.
