Which monitor should I get?

This is for shadow lands

3.Asus VG259Q 24.5” Gaming Monitor 144Hz Full HD (1920 X 1080) 1ms IPS Elmb FreeSync Eye Care DisplayPort HDMI,Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0817JCFJN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_qkyxFb8VME6CY

And which is my 2nd monitor
I have a 2700x with a rx590

I would personally avoid curved displays outside of ultrawides, but that’s me

lol well, RP aside, they’re a bit weird on smaller displays. On the ultrawides they make sense

First monitor is TN, which offer poor color quality/viewing angles. Good if you want it for highly competitive FPS games but not much else as they usually offer the best response times.

Second monitor is curved and VA, VA has nice image quality but gets a little washed out at higher frames and the curve at smaller monitor size doesn’t really look right imo. Go ultrawide if you want a curved monitor.

By default the third is the best choice for me, IPS is the best monitor tech for all around use. Great viewing angles/color reproduction and nice enough response times to be an all around top choice for gaming/general use.

Thanks for the chuckle Panda lady.

3 monitor setup here. I have a 27" 1440/144 that I play on - great monitor for the game. It did feel a little strange at first, but I like it now.

My 24" and 27" monitors are 1080/60 and flat - I mostly have work windows open on those.

I don’t think I would use a 24" curved monitor though - 27" looked much better to me pre-covid when you could still go look at them…

Well you’re playing female pandaren, so that much was apparent.

I actually own a 27" version of this one

and it’s probably the best monitor i’ve purchased. Definitely recommend it. Little more expensive than the other two though.

So while we are on the subject of screens, I have the new gen OMEN with the RTX 2060 and I got it with the 300 GHz refresh rate but the 15 inch is sadly to say a little small so I want to go with a monitor but I’m also curious if I should get an external GPU to go with it… would it make it better or would it not do anything I’m not really sure how they interact.

The RTX 2060 is a good card - with the performance loss you get from an external GPU, I wouldn’t unless you are having a problem.

I’m quite fond of my Asus monitors.

Just get a separate display, keyboard, and mouse

I have the first monitor. No complaints.
