There’s a weird taboo on these forums where people for whatever reason are deemed traitorous or whatnot if they sub to multiple MMOs. Let’s break that taboo.
Obviously, we all have a sub or an expiring sub for WoW to post here. Which other MMOs do you sub to?
I’ll probably go FF14 when I’m free. Very busy right now.

EvE Online. Six paid accounts (some annual, some montlhly)
And I love me some SKINs (microtxn cosmetics.)
Edit: this is my go-to for raid-type play and PvP in general.
FFXIV. i was looking for a second game and my choices were it and EverQuest 2. It won.
Just WoW. I don’t have a need for MMO play in particular, and no other MMO out there appeals to me. If WoW goes downhill I’ll probably just quit MMOs until something truly special (e.g. the “WoW” of the 2020s) shows up.
Swtor and WoW. I only pvp and due to this horrible xpax swtor is now my go to game for pvp. WoW is on the back burner. Hopefully next xpax wins me over to make wow my main game agian
I’m currently subbed to WoW, though I’m doing some final runs with a couple of friends with content I promised I’d help them with before I quit.
I’m also subbed to FFXIV; I’ve been playing it since 2015, so I already have some sunk cost in it to be my next main MMO.
I recently ended my “elite” sub with Tera and sticking with the F2P mode. I enjoyed the game enough that I was subbed to it since its release in 2012. I enjoyed its combat more than any other MMO but I really got tired of the locked classes in favor of the Elin race.
I was also subbed to SWTOR but had to stop due to the lack of free time. I’ll eventually resub once I get some back.
Runescape and WoW.
Only subbed to WoW because my girlfriend, and friend want me to play TBC with them.
As for Runescape, I’ve played it on and off since 2001. It’s my favorite MMO and always has been. I play RS3 not OSRS.
FFXI is my main game at the moment. I have all jobs at 99 and all missions complete. I’ve basically beat the game but I’m finishing up my Mog Garden and I want to learn all the BLU spells and finish crafting still. It’s rough looking from a fresh install but there is a Youtube video tutorial on how to install HD textures and it looks great.
I also have a FFXIV subscription but all I’ve been doing for the past few months is farming GP in the Golden Saucer. I have almost all the rewards from there. I want to work on the MSQ but I’ve been busy with other things.
WoW will probably be more fun once I unlock flying so that’s a few weeks away. I’m excited to level alts once that’s unlocked.
I’ve been kind of done with MMOs for a while now, but there are a few that I’ll poke my head into for nostalgia’s sake (including WoW). DDO and LotRO are still on that list, as is CoH Homecoming - which, to be fair, I kind of treated as a single player game anyway.
There are a bunch of others that I think about in the same way that I think about some old friends - I kind of feel like I want to get back in touch, but then I remember why we fell out of contact in the first place. I think I’ve finally gotten to that point with WoW, tbh.
Sub in WoW expiring in a little over a month. I’ve been subbed to FFXIV for the last four months and will continue with it.
