Hey everyone. I normally play a prot pally or a Mark’s hunter. I recently started playing a fire mage and I find the rotation tough. I don’t care about doing the absolute most dps but just trying to not get kicked from a group. What’s easier arcane or frost for mid lvl mythic plus groups? Thanks!!
For low levels it 100% doesn’t matter, and what is “easiest” is a subjective opinion that isn’t the same for everyone.

He is 53 or 54 will be 60 by tomorrow. Just want to work on the rotation. I’ve tried frost and it was easier. Haven’t tried arcane yet.
Frost has strong aoe in mythics, and their slows are helpful with kiting pulls. After maining fire for years, getting a handle on an effective rotation took some getting used to, but I’m usually top dps in any aoe situation.

I would say Arcane, the rotation is fairly simple and the damage is a lot higher than FIre in most pugs simply because tank pugs don’t do huge AoE pulls based on your combustion CD.
Arcane at 180ilv easily pulls 3k+(Much more with Bombardment Leggo) in AoE situations, only falling behind on ST, but since this week is not Tyrannical, Arcane really shines.

Arcane is the best for lower to mid level keys.
