So I am rolling an Undead for classic. but I can’t stand the undead horse mount. So I am planning to base my leveling around getting rep so I can get another racial mount ASAP. I can’t decide if it would be better for me to go after the Raptor or the Kodo mount. Here is a list I have compiled of all the quest that give rep for either Thunder Bluff or Dark Spear Trolls.
These List are organized as follows: Name of Zone/Dungeon, Number of Quest, Level Required to accept quest, recommended level to do the quest.
Thunder Bluff
Mulgore 36 1-10 (1-12)
Thunder Bluff 27 4-54 (8-60)
The Barrens 25 9-20 (10-27)

WC 3 10 (16-22)
Stonetalon Mountians 10 12-23 (18-28)
BFD 1 18 (27)

Ashenvale 5 19-20 (24-30)
Thousand Needles 17 23-32 (25-35)
SM 1 28 (38)

AV 2 60
121 total quest 14,275 total rep
Keep in mind that I need to do the quest at the appropriate level or I will get much less reputation from the quest.
The Pros of going for Dark Spear Troll rep is Durotar has my class trainer (mage) where as Mulgore/Thunder Bluff to my knowledge do not have a mage trainer, so I would have to fly to Org to get training, and Durotar will be easier to get to as a fresh spawned undead than Mulgore will be. The Pros of going for Thunder Bluff Rep is there are more quest for them thus more rep gained, the quest are in large number in zones so less time spent moving around the world and more time spent questing, and I like the way the Kodo looks slightly more than the raptor.
If it were you, what would you do, and would you change anything about my leveling route?
kodos are the best. basically little tanks
Jesus, when is that report due to your manager?

Does anyone know if Rep Spillover will be in classic? For those that do not know what it is, towards the end of vanilla they made it where if you earned rep for any faction of the main force (Horde/Alliance) 25% of that rep gained would be given to the other factions. For instance, if I gained 400 rep with orgimmar, I would get 100 rep with Thunder Bluff, Darkspear Trolls, and Undercity as well, as spillover rep.

lol what do you mean, too in depth?
It’s cool I’m just teasing.
I do not think it will be in classic but I have not heard a for sure answer on this. If anyone knows feel free to answer!
There’s a mage trainer in the cave you pick up Serpentblooms quest in TB
Oh sweet, thanks that is great to know
Would be really nice if it is. Wouldn’t need to bother with AV/Cloth grinds to get the remaining rep, which is the bulk of it even if you get the max rep with all the quest available unfortunately, and undead is even worse.
I too would really like to know this!

Or… you could just play the game and not worry about finding the hyper-optimized path to hit the boring endgame grind as fast as possible…
Just throwing that out as another option, since it seems to never occur to some people as even a possibility.
Do whatever… its your choice. I like the undead mount…
I would not worry about which quest gave which reputation (unless it was for RP reasons). In my 50s or at 60, I would do Alterac Valley until I was Exalted with all the Horde factions, which wouldn’t take very long. Then I’d decide if I wanted a kodo or a raptor.
Did you not read any of the post? This has zero to do with an optimized path to hit end game, it is just the path to do all the quest that award reputation with either Thunder Bluff or Darkspear Trolls. Doing those quest after you outlevel them only gives you 20% of the rep, and in classic there is already not even close to enough rep from quest to hit exalted with either faction. So every bit helps to take away from the runecloth grind at end game.

I love my Taurens more than anything else, but Kodos suck. Go for the Raptor.
OP, you are a masochist. I like it.
Or possibly you could actually read the post before saying something sarcastic that made you look like your uneducated.
Why not frostwolf
Undead are small, they don’t look ridiculous on wolves like Orcs do.
The solution to this problem is, especially if you’re alliance, doing 12-20 Loch Modan/Darkshore/Westfall combinations. It’s a lot of flying, but you unlock a ton of max quest reputation before they start falling off.
