Which kills faster: Savagery or Murder of Crows?

For Beast Mastery, I like the looks of Murder of Crows, but I’m interested in strong DPS. Should I choose Savagery or Murder of Crows? Or both?

What?

There is no such thing. Are you talking of Classic or MoP Classic?

Unless Im blind and dumb, Murder of Crows is no longer a thing, its only a visual on destructible quest objectives.

EDIT: I am a dumb dumb. Its a passive.

Nah, it’s a talent choice. It summons crows every 5 kill commands now or something like that iirc, it isn’t an active ability anymore.

Ah Yea I see it now. Yea its still a thing…Didnt even notice it was a Passive now. That must make me a bad hunter. Even the slur! I am so embarrassed.

To answer OPs question, I am seeing that WoWHead only recommends it for the Hybrid raid spec, IE a Single Target/AOE build.

I am one of those that just copy/pastes what WoWHead says is good for the content I want, and just move point into Trailblazer.

None of the Three loadouts I use from WoWHead want Crows, but I do not raid as of yet.

Nah… that doesn’t make you a bad hunter…

But… This does… don’t just copy paste the loadouts… read over them and actually learn what they do… and acknowledge that neither Wowhead nor icyveins has everything 100% accurate… sometimes their recommendations are just garbage.

And also realize that guides aren’t always going to be optimal. That’s not their point. Guides, in general, are for new people / people unfamiliar with the spec.

It gives you a strong jumping off point with an explanation on how things work.

MURDER of crows… by definition, it’s murder.

That’s if you’re running the delv belt with versatility proc.

Reason being is that most of BMs abilities actually do not reduce the versatility but murder of crows does.

Literally each tick of crows reduces the versatility proc so murder of crows will be better in st outside of the belt/new builds for patch.
