I’m at the AH and there’s a few types of Jellis here. Which one should I buy and how many to get the bee mount?
It is not feasible to unlock this mount just by buying jelly. You’ll bankrupt yourself twice over if this is the only method you use to unlock it.

Thin Jelly gives 20 rep.
Rich Jelly gives 80 rep.
Royal Jelly gives 160 rep.
You need 42,000 rep to go from 0 to Exalted. You will need additional jelly to make sure your baby bee matures into a mount.
Using that information, you should be able to figure out how much gold things will cost or if you should try to collect some rep from Stormsong Valley events.

The ones for sale are the equivalent of 8 jellies. Which take maybe 5 minutes to farm. Don’t waste your gold they are very over priced.

Faction rep isn’t everything needed though. You still need to increase friendship with the bee itself. First stage is 3500 and second stage is 7000, for a total of 10,500. Thin jelly gives 5 friendship, so you need 2,100 thin jellies for this part. The jellies scale linearly, so rich jelly is 20 friendship and rich jelly is 40 friendship.

You need the Jellies because the rep is not the only thing that is required for the mount. You also need to feed the bee to have it grow.
I spent lot gold just to get the bee mount. It was worth it.

you do know that you need the jellies to get the second rep needed -the one you get from feeding the bee
It’s a bit of a struggle to get to revered to buy the goggles which allows you to see the nodes on the minimap.
After I got the goggles it was just a matter of farming a few hours. They are everywhere.
If you are not in a huge hurry. Do the daily things til you reach revered and get the goggles, then farm farm the jellies. Which feeds the baby bee at the same time.
I still wouldn’t waste my gold buying jelly. It’s very overpriced for how quickly you can find it. Assuming you have flying.
Another option is if you have a friend/guildie who has a two seater and already has the goggles they can fly you around with them and you can farm jellies togeather.

Its mid 2023 and I am coming here as the prices are pretty low and I did the math don’t worry about it. 280 Royal Jelly will get you to Exalted incase you just googled it looking for the answer to how many royal jelly it would take.
