Having 5% lower dps or losing all your upgrades and progress by switching covs?
Just read that Kyrian is the cov of choice in 9.1… I really dont want to upgrade another base. I spent months grinding. Some might scoff and say well its only 5% dmg loss…but I also run with another hunter and if he doesnt make the switch then its 10%. Every little bit helps. /sigh
I, too, read that Kyrian is better than NF meow.
Well, I was never a fan of the fairies, and 5% is quite a bit.
However, if you switch before the patch, everything you do will add renown, speeding up the process.
Kyrian makes my eyes bleed.
I mean, catching up in renown is really easy plus both night fae and kyrian abilities, offensively are the same, kyrian is one min, fae is two, and they are both throw on the ground abilities but since kyrian is lower cd you can actually line it up much more frequently
I don’t think it’s a 5% difference when you’re looking at equal renown/conduit levels. Hunter guides and the hunter Discord have Kyrian up around 1% atm. Kyrian got some good post 40 renown souldbinds and their conduits scale better with increase power of our gear. Excluding unforeseen nerfs and buffs, it appears Kyrian will scale better as the expansion goes on though. So do with that as you like.
