I started legion with a dk, and after getting the artifact weapon i could choose which zones to start first at the mission table in ebonhold. My question is, these zones i choose to do, one of them is Azuna, if I reroll a pally, will i get new zones/different zones from dk, or same zone but different quest/story?
Or is the same for every class? Sorry i really don’t get it. Whenever I browse forums people talk as if each classhall campaign is 80% of the whole legion campaign, but when i asked my veteran friends they said class hall campaigns are short and the meat and potatoes are found in the legion main campaign, i guess what i am asking is right now with my DK I’m questing in the Aszuna zone, helping the blue dragon flight and the ghost prince Farandis, and what not, if i create a pally, will the Aszuna quests i’m currently doing be the same? Or is the dk class campaign different and i’m currently doing the main campaign for legion regardless of class?
The main campaign quest sequences are more or less identical for all characters. I don’t even recall faction mattering, which is historically an anomaly.
Class-specific stuff is specific to class hall, artifact weapon, and related (such as mission table).
Sniperorc is right. Your Pally would get the same set of Aszuna quests, and Highmountain quests, and so on.
This is because the zone questlines are vety standard for WoW. Val’sharah does have a memorable ending, but there is nothing in any of them really different to Mists or WoD or BfA or any other expansion.
BUT the Class Hall questlines, being tailored for each class, are more interesting, and reward things that people really want, like Class Mounts. So people talk about the Class Hall campoigns a lot more. They really are quite good.
I don’t think you can do just the Class Halls, but I’m not sure now. There used to be some gates and waiting around for the next Class Hall quest to be available - maybe there is less of that now.
and clock the Spoilers button to see the campaign quests. Then follow them as far as you can. But if the next quest is not presented, check the comments for that quest, and see if there is some prerequisite.
