I went with druid hoping to heal raids and du geons and then use balance in open world
Balance feels sooo weak to me so thinking of a new healing class
I would like to be able to do dps in open world and survive easily… i see some people just steam roll whilst i struggle with a small group
I would like to still get healing gear as loot that would hopefully help with off spec
I was thinking priest but never played one
I have a shammy i use enhance… was thinking changing to ele and resto… not played resto…
What has a good strong offspec for open world and a good heal?
I think keep on with Balance. Very strong once you get the hang of it.
(I main Guardian, off balance)
Druid is strong overall and gives you the most options, melee DPS, caster DPS, and tank. All druid specs are pretty good right now.
Only other healer with a notably strong dps off-spec would be MW maybe.
Have not really played other classes yet, maybe my response wont be reliable.
But i think monk is great, both Windwalker main and recently Fistweaving.
Ww will melt tru harder open world stuff if you know what you are doing and use all tools/skills.
And so far i think Fistweaving does well too, fight like a melee dps for healing, but benefit more with multiple target and standing in faeline stomp. (With proper skill, Blackout kick can hit 9 times when there are 3 targets. 150% of the damage from tiger palm, blackout kick and rising sun kick is converted to healing at you other other injured allies.)
Otherwise i have not tried the other mistweaving build that let you stay away and heal in peace.
Windwalker is definitely the strongest DPS offspec among healers, feral is
probably second.
The problem is the mistweaver isn’t a great dungeon healer, it’s more of a raid healer.
Probably shaman or monk. Enhance kinda blasts in capable hands.
