Trying to explore some servers and see which one has the best economy for each faction. I’m mainly buy, so just trying to find out which of the servers sell common items for reasonable prices.
Didn’t they combine all the auction houses?
I didn’t think server had much bearing, just if there was a lot of people on it, might be healthier.

You mean it doesn’t matter what server you are on, the prices will all be the same? I don’t know about that because when I checked, there were different sellers with different prices when I scouted other server AHs.
Only consumables and raw goods are region-wide. However, you might still see different sellers because the items move very quickly now.
All auction houses have been dual faction since WoD, so you will not have to worry about the faction on whichever server cluster you choose.

One way to kind of research this is with undermine journal or maybe even TSM and look at history across all servers. It’ll show from highest to lowest and then you abuse the ever living toast out of that.
Sell your 10,000 pet charm pet thing for 5 bagillion gold on some rando server where the price and sell thru is decent.
If you’re looking for materials to craft consumables for yourself, any realm will do, since the auction house is region-wide for those.
If you’re looking for gear, mounts, transmog, or anything that doesn’t qualify as reagent or consumable items, you should check out the highest pop servers, such as Illidan, Area 52, Stormrage, Sargeras (here is a list).
