Alright Wyrmries. I’ve been searching for a RP guild and it seems that I cant find anything outside of the military or dark/criminal themes. so I was thinking about creating a guild. I’m thinking of doing a casual rp guild where there’s no specific rp theme, it’s just a guild rpers can join to make friends, do walkup rp, events to help progress their story etc. or a horde relief guild where our rp focus would be to help out where we’re needed. Charity work, assisting the wounded from the war by applying first aid, offering food,shelter etc. we would participate in community events…do our own events…and walkup rp in the community. Which concept sounds better? And if your interested in starting one of these concepts with me let me know!

Ahh no replies yet? D: I adore both ideas. Perhaps with the first idea, you can still do the second idea if you wanted to do both at least 
As far as the relief program goes, I think it’d be a good segway for guild alliances and multi-guild events and RP! So I think both would be fantastic (I know that probably doesn’t help).

Have been looking for a Casual guild on Wyrmrest Accord for over 5 years now so that is where my vote would be. Alas, I am Alliance on this server.

I really love the second idea. With all the military guilds out there, we really need some “relief efforts” type guilds to go alongside it!

I know if I could ever commit the time and effort to get Sunblood Bulwark off its feet (which will require some solid individuals and not just myself, I know that much) I would collab for some relief forces.
Let me know if that ever happens and maybe we can work something out!

I’ve been looking for a good casual rp guild (I just can’t keep up enough with the more serious ones rip), but I think you could easily pull off a little of both!
Perhaps the guild starts out as something casual, warriors and such banding together to try and help out, and then it begins to turn into an actual guild with set out missions and stuff?
The lax nature of that would also help keep it casual, some ppl make it to missions and some ppl dont, and they aren’t necessarily on a schedule.
Also leaves room to let others besides the GM lead missions. Maybe guildee A heard about an upcoming local weather disaster and rallies up some of the other members to help out over there.

The second option sounds a lot better. Having some kind of direction or focus for a guild is pretty important, otherwise it’s just a glorified chat channel.

Mogo think maybe you make fishing guild that make trips to fish together. Mogo think then you cook and give fish to hungry around Azeroth. Mogo think maybe you offer fishing lessons to poor.

I’d be big on a sort of relief effort.
But just a casual rp guild could be good for those looking to meet others/get started! Especially if they were to hold events.
I’m leaning towards the relief guild because I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen one and it would go along well with all the military guilds that are out there and I feel like it would also be good for community rp
I am currently on MG but keep swinging by WrA’s forums out of curiosity and would like to say that a relief type of guild sounds great. I’d consider rolling a revamped character just for it if you’re going through with the idea!
I do plan on going though with it! I have family visiting this week but when they leave I will be getting it all sorted out. If your interested let me know.

I think the concept is a great idea, Savandia. There are some interesting themes that can work well alongside this idea, and humanitarian RP can drum up all kinds of unique stories too. I wish you the best of luck!
