Which faction has better perks?

We all know Vanilla each faction had its own perks.
So what faction do you guys think is the better of the two?

Alliance has Fear Ward and Paladins

Horde has Shamans, better racials, and better Spriests.

Personally I feel Horde won in the faction perks. Stronger racials, Shaman is just a better paladin (besides holy, holy paladins were pretty strong) since they only need to drop a totem a few times instead of spamming buffs, with totem buffs being way better than paladin ones once you reach BWL/AQ. Yes Alliance has Fear Ward, but with current day experience, there wont be that many fears that are harmful, and a Warrior tank stops any fear problems.
I love Horde but Shamans are not a better Paladin... Paladins are really tanky since they can wear plate and they have the strongest single heal in the game that's why their HPS is way higher than Shamans. Shamans bring nice utility with totems and they are in my opinion funner to play than Paladins.
Alliance had castles.

Horde has mud huts and no indoor plumbing.

You decide.
Right now the raiding community is very heavily favoring horde faction, Im gonna suppose that trend would continue for classic aswell.
Alliance, obviously.

Shamans also totally destroy priests, rogues, paladins, mages, and warriors in pvp in even unskilled hands.
The Horde will have Thrall as we knew and loved him: clad in the black armor of Ogrimm with the Doom Hammer in hand. The warrior shaman we needed.

Also, if you go Horde you can kill Gamon over and over.

Check mate, Alliance.
Didn’t horde have bloodlust?
Alliance: you aren't playing with horde players.
Horde because of shamans. Cleansing was a huge part of raids and cleansing totems made that really easy for horde on top having windfury and bloodlust.

Shamans didn't get hero/list until bc.
Blessing of Salvation says hello.
Alliance has the best racials though in classic.

Lol no. That would be ridiculous. There was no bloodlust/heroism in vanilla.
ally hands down
mainly because of salvation(but all the paly bufs combined are way better than shaman totems) - also sword spec for human and fear ward for priest
I’ve been an Alliance player since vanilla.

Both factions did great in raiding and pvp. Racials were great on both sides but it wasn’t a huge deciding factor in the game.

Shamans with their crushing Windfury and Paladins with their Big single target heals (and plate) (retn00bs ftw!)

So to answer your question: It doesn’t matter what faction you play. If you wanna progress in Classic, you and a large group of people need to work together.... very well.

Alliance ftw though ;)
Horde have no counters for Find Treasure and Diplomacy.
Alliance easily.

Alliance have best tank racials, alliance have the best healer racials, alliance have the best caster racials.

Horde have the best melee racials.

Blessings are MUCH stronger than totems, also it takes 4 pallies to full buff a raid it takes 16 shaman to mostly buff a raid.

Ele, enhance, and ret are not really relevant in pve. Prot has some niche uses but mostly not.

Pallies are the strongest healers in vanilla with the most hps despite being ST healers, vs shaman who are decent aoe healers but still weaker than priests.

Pallies do not run out of mana once they get enough crit, vanilla didnt have enrage timers except on a select few bosses so you fought till your healers oomed... when some healers dont oom that mean bosses just fall over eventually.
As far as perks Alliance has more....

They are closer to Blackrock Mountain. Have easier backdoors into Horde cities and easier geography to get there.

AV has an Alliance advantage(Easier to take out archers)

Onyxia quest is easier/takes less time

Paladins are better than shaman... Paladins are arguably the best healer.... and their buffs are not range dependent.
Alliance has better zones, cities, and paladins. Ironforge>all. GG.
