Which elevator will kill you first?

So remember the place in Blasted Lands where you can accidentally get yourself a teleport ride to the top of a tall cliff where there may be an elite demon that will kill you unless you move very quickly?
There is the possibility of getting down without losing all of your health to falling damage but yeah that thing killed me before.
:bag:

Oh and bonus if you fall, you likely will have to graveyard rez and take the rez sickness.

Unless you somehow aim well and land in the water.
Then there are those elites near the may or may not be there world boss to get past.
Itā€™s at the Twin Colossus.

Not an elevator, but a falling death. ā€œUltrasafe Gadgetzan Transporterā€. Always pack the parachute cloak first.

Undercity.

The Great Lift is a heck of a place to find out your NumLock stopped working.

Hit num-lock at Crossroads for auto-run. Lazily course correct while doing something else because that is a looooooong walk.

Holy cow! The elevator just arrived as I was getting to it! No wait

Hit NumLock as his green feet hit the elevator.

Nothing happens. He keeps going and takes the Wiley Coyote way down.

True story.

It wonā€™t be an elevator, but I intend to make my way up to the IF airfield, go through the tunnel to the East and fall endlessly.

Just for nostalgias sake.

Ah, reminds me of the few days of out of sync UC elevators. Man, that was hilarious.

The worst is falling off Felwood, but your ghost spawns in Darkshoreā€¦ So you have to ghost walk, ALL THE WAY AROUNDā€¦

Similar, but not as bad is the Tanaris/Unā€™goro fallā€¦ defintely did that a couple times where I couldnā€™t retrieve my body, unless I jumped off the cliff exactly how I fell.

It wouldnā€™t be an uncommon occurrence where I wasnā€™t being cautious enough in blackrock mountain, and I would fall in the lava. You would do this on purpose sometimes, where you jump into the lave RIGHT before the part where you can get up, and it saves you timeā€¦ but sometimes you donā€™t do it perfectly enough.

I have died to the UC elevator, but I wouldnā€™t say it was a common occurrence, I learned my lesson after the first couple times xD

Elevators in Gnomeregan for sure.

Ah the Bob Ross you are!

I still think it is the Under City Elevator, because I started as Undead in 2005 and I died a few times on Illidan (PvP) w/ The Vindicators and there was always hundreds of skeleys at the bottom and even more so when the Bear mount was active for killing the Bosses in the main cities. It has been about 10yrs since my last death. There was even posts in the forums and elsewhere that people were saying they needed to Nerf the UC Elevator because of so many deaths.

Those were easy, what about Outlands in Raid Instances and lets not go into the fear and anxiety caused by The Evil One starting quest area in Outlands once you heard the noise it was too late from the 100ft tall Evil Fel Reaver!

Most memorable death from falling was in 2006. Me level 7 on first NE toon, second overall. I fell off that big watefrall on Teldrassil, and smashed myself on some cliffs halfway down. I jumped down as a ghost and tried to hit the OK button while going down, but was not fast enough, and of course I did not land on those rocks! Now my ghost was at sea level and my body halfways and the Siprit healer on top of Teldrassil.
I knew Teldrassil was not the whole world, as first one was a Human. I saw some cliffs in the distance, so I began gliding over the water with my Elven Ghost form glittering. Then a Fatigue bar showed up, I thought wtā€¦ is that? Well, Iā€™m a ghost, Iā€™m already dead, then I canā€™t be harmed by a strange bar telling me ā€œFatigueā€, and what the bugger is ā€œFatigueā€ in any case.
BAM! My ghost died and I was at Auberdine Graveyard. I talked to the Spirit healer there and had a total hard time getting home as I did not know the purpose of that nice, pink portal  I was a n00b back then., but my it was fun!
