This. Thunderbluff is just asking to wander off. After quite awhile on pserver I can honestly say the last time I died in Undercity was back in BC.

God I am going to be swimming for hours in SW though. I can’t ever stay on the paths.

Don’t forget about the elevator in Antorus, which can squish you.

Can’t blame you for trying to get a release date. Interesting that you slipped in the QOL though lol. They did say if it wasn’t in Vanilla (features) then it won’t be in classic though. So it’s not my word, it’s the developers word.

As far as falling off stuff, I’m sure I’ll get MCed off the lumber mill in AB at some point. Unlikely I’ll plummet to my doom on my own.

Not a Vanilla death, but my most memorable was mounting on a ground mount outside of Bastion of Twilight and hopping to my death in an epic fashion.

Thunder Bluff. I remember thinking I could make the jump to the top of the elevator as it went down.

I could not. I had a lot of time to think about my mistake while falling down.

Jumping to catch the elevator at the Great Lift and didn’t make it. Was a loooong way down lol

I doubt the thunderbluff one gets me, more than likely it will be the thousand needles elevators that nail me, that or jumping off the wrong side of the air totem quest pinnacle, done that, twice :rofl:

Personally I have only been killed by the UC elevator a few times.

Of course, in Retail, falling from a high place is pretty much the only way to die these days.

I died many times to the elevator in UC. I even got stuck a couple of times. May it rest in the blight!

I never had an elevator death until TBC. I have this thing with heights so I’m careful. I actually get a butterfly in the stomach sensation when my toons jump off cliffs in video games. :grin:

Falling that far so should have given 100% durability damage. Not only are you a red mist but your gear is totally flattened and unuseable till you repair.
