You might want to explain what they get from each because I have no clue. And sadly, I’m not a huge fan of the spec. :smiley:

The only covenant we’ve seen as of now is the Kyrian(Zone: Bastion).

That covenant will bring the ability: Resonance Trap

Other than the general approach to how covenants work, we have little information in regards to the other covenants.

As for their themes and the fantasy, you can ofc pick already though.

Actually I asked cause I don’t know anything about them and was wondering if someone more informed than me could give some information.

Outside of astetics no one really knows much about them. At least not for hunters.

This is about what’s known in regards to Covenants as of now.

In short:

  • As you level up, you will get to explore what each covenant is about and what they have in store for you, early on.

  • Once you hit max level and choose a covenant, this will unlock access to unique quests and the campaign tied to that covenant.

  • It looks as if you will have something similar to a mission table as well. Like the one we have now. Though nothing specific. It just say ‘‘call upon your allies to embark on important missions’’.
    So, it can also be something else entirely.

  • You will gain access to unique abilities tied to your chosen Covenant and your class.

  • You can bind your soul to other NPCs of that Covenant and gain access to a type of talent tree with ways to further customize how you play. Along with something called Conduits(similar to Relics in Legion).

  • Along with things like a unique mount

  • A unique appearance and other ways to customize your character, visually

Will there be more than this in the future?

Mine will probably go bastion/kyrian just because i have other characters to do the other covenants but no pally/priest/holy character for bastion.

Will be changing my troll hunter back to a night elf hunter after i finish unlocking vulpera, so i figure since bastion is a covenant focused on serving greater powers and with religious overtones, my night elf hunter can basically play it off as being a priestess of elune in warcraft 3 style

I have no clue honestly, though if I’m being honest with myself I’ll probably just go with the one that just fits with my character best in my mind. Doesn’t matter if other players will be running around with nukes in world pvp, and I’m just running around with a little poop fairy.

I’ll find a way to make that poop fairy work one way or another.

This choice is obviously subject to change as more information is presented to the WoW community, but, first choice at this time (for me) is Ardenweald. Bastion is a close second.
