Which Covenant will you join in SL?

I know that Maldraxxus is obvious, but Venthyr sounds pretty awesome to be honest.

Which Covenant will your dk join?

I gotta go with Maldraxxus, that bone armor is just too nice looking to pass up. Plus we’ll probably learn more about Scourge there and I love the Scourge.

I do really like Venthyr though, gonna make one of my Worgen go through it. Probably a Warrior.

I’m actually considering Ardenweald. From their descriptions it sounds like the conceptualized Fall and Winter. (From death comes rebirth) and that’s kinda’ how I feel as a Blood DK… From their death, comes my rebirth.

I mean, I want 2H frost back too, but that’s not what this thread is about, and derailing threads isn’t a good look.

Probably Maldraxxus on at least one DK, but with my army of alts I’m likely to experience them all.

I’m a huge fan of Ravenloft and Lord Soth from D&D, so I’m going Revendreth in a heartbeat. I love the whole spooky castle/feudal lord paradigm.

Maldraxxus gives what sounds like a 2nd death grip. That’s the obvious choice when all the other options are boring damage boosts.

I will say that the revendreath armor looks like it would be awesome on a dwarf, and one of my DKs is a dwarf. Zandalari is definitely sticking with Maldraxxus though.

Scourge one because the cloak looks like Kerrigan’s blades.

I never understand this reasoning coming from the big portion of the player-base. The percentage of DPS increase is fractional, and can easily be made up for by just playing better or itemizing better. It really only affects people pushing mythic progression - even then it only really matters in the first few weeks/month or two.

I haven’t decided. Yes I do think one covenant looks better than the others. I, however; plan on waiting to make my decision. I want to play through all the covenants to see which one fits best.

I don’t see why it would be a surprising approach. Its likely going off of how covenants were advertised that there will be a imbalance in how useful some covenants are over others. Not just in there will be a best, but in that there will likely be a worst. And damage matters as much as the content you do makes it matter, more damage opens more doors for more interesting content.
