I was wondering which of the 10 bosses is best gauge of single target DPS for all specs.
Obviously these are bosses so nothing is just a perfect sample where you can just stand still and dps but I was wondering what the closest example would be.
Same question for AOE fight.

Sun King has the most adds to kill, and some adds need to die asap.
Edit: As others said, Council is one too. I think I’m wrong about Sun King.
council for balance druids
The only real AOE DPS check is waiters on Council, I think. Making sure you kill one set before the next spawns. It’s less of a strict “DPS check” though.
I feel Hungering Devourer is a better consistent ST DPS check, as Sludgefist is more of a burst ST DPS check.
Sludge can be a tricky one as well, because classes that have CDs that line up better for the burn phases can see a higher ST benefit.
Sun king isn’t an Aoe fight.
People have to burn down the priority adds
On Sun King now, and that was my initial feeling.
Felts more like “priority cleave” at most. But we don’t have it down yet. So wasn’t 100% sure.

I will always see “CN” as Cyanide.

I happen to work around cyanide on a daily basis, so I am very honed in on paying attention to those letters. 
It’s really important that the priority adds die. I’m okn my phone so can’t easily list the order.
But if people are just aoe’ing, they’re likely going to leave the wrong add up to long.
Additionally, cooldowns should be saved for Kael, so not like you’d get a good idea of aoe capabilities anyway
All good. I am healing anyways. I have my own set of things I am worried about. I get tunnel vision. So things outside of my purview I will readily admit I miss and can become ignorant of.
(I will say its fun getting 30k+ hps to start the fight though)
So true! I know our healers had a pretty complex cooldowns rotation for the heal phases, but I have no idea what that was. Need to know, and all that lol
My highest AOE numbers always come from Huntsman.
Sludgefist is a dps check because you only have four pillars in the room. If you don’t kill him before the fifth charge you wipe.
ST, definitely Sludgefist. Shriekwing for the bare minimum. HD and Artificer for honorable mentions.
MT, probably SLG. Actually, a lot of CN “MT” fights are mostly cleaves. Blood Council cleaves are not as useful as SLG, Sun King is just add management but really you wanna take down the shade with massing your healers, cleave does help with Denathrius right. Actually, Danny P1 checks your AoE damage the most out of all bosses in CN.
Huntsman checks your cleave damage along with Inerva too.
