Which class

Which class do you think would be most fun for time spent? Im an extremely casual player so I will only be able to play maybe 2hrs a day, any suggestions? Also what professions for that class do you recommend ?

You can do a LOT in 2 hours a day.

Context of what you enjoy would help. Tank, heal, dps, range, melee, group, solo, etc

If you are time limited you will want to play something that is desired to maximize your time. I would say probably a healer or a less populated DPS class like Warlock.

Im pretty open to any suggestions really. Other than tanking, prolly not that lol

I second the Warlock suggestion then. Lots of fun and versatility.

Thank you

Just pick something you think you’ll enjoy. I have played Ally since I started in '08 with a little dabbling in Horde. This time around I’m going to take a completely fresh approach and go Horde. I’m going to miss the NE zones though, they are hands down my favorite Ally zones.

I thought I had my mind made up on Tauren Druid but then I thought maybe Tauren Shaman, then Troll Hunter and now I’m thinking Forsaken Priest lol.

As for profs, I’m going to be doing Tailoring/Enchanting first, although I remember it being hard on the bank. Then again, I didn’t do a lot of research and was kinda learning as I went so this time around I’m hoping it will be a bit easier lol. Once the economy picks up, I’ll probably to a gathering toon.

I agree, im thinking of rolling Ally because I’ve been horde since I started around the same time you did. Im thinking gnome warlock or possibly human pally, unsure so far. I’ve always mained a shaman so it’s gonna be hard trying to play something else lol

I’m going the opposite direction, I mained Ally up until Cata. So I never did any of the Horde Vanilla quest prior to the change that came with Cata.

But right now, trying to decide on Race/Class for Horde. Originally was going to go Rogue, But test ran Hunter this morning. Outside of the Ammo thing, I really think Hunter might be my Horde character.

Now I’m down to race.

I agree I like hunter, but keeping people out of your deadzone in pvp sounds like a pain haha. Or else I’d totally roll hunter 100%

I would play Warlock or Mage, but you can do any class in two hours.

I don’t PvP much, so I don’t worry on if a class will PvP/Dungeon/Raid well.

Oo okay that makes sense, I don’t really have time for raiding and stuff so I’ll most likely be pvping a lot.

Sorry to say, but you’re all wrong. <CLASS_NAME> is the best class ever, because of <CAPABILITY_THAT_IS_SUBJECTIVE>. It is far superior at <PVP|PVE> due to <CLASS_DEFININING_ABILITY>. If you play <CLASS_THAT_OFTEN_DEFEATS_MY_CHOICE_IN_PVP> you are a bad player and your class is <BROKEN|OVERPOWERED>.

If you don’t believe me, then <ANECDOTE_WHERE_MY_CHOICE_WAS_COOL>. So, there!

I never played Vanilla, but did the hunters back then have concussive shot or freezing/frost trap?

I used those all the time for keeping distance. In pve mind you hehe

I never play casters and played a mage on the stress test last night and had the time of my life…try everything, classic won’t be going anywhere.
