Which class will be the most gimmicky in BG?

I just came back after a long break and with limited time to play, I think that I will most likely just focus my DF experience in random BGs. I haven’t followed any of the classes changes hence why I’m here to ask you guys which class will be the most gimmicky / fun in BGs

I always main Mage and it seems like it would fit the bill
lots and lots of CC / snare
Invisibility
Mass polymorph
Icewall
Greater pyroblast and ring of fire are cool with % dmg done

I barely had time to look at the new talent trees so… What do you guys think I should play next expac?

lock, any spec of priest, frost/arcane mage

this is not as great as it sounds

We talking gimmicky “MM open from stealth and double tap you instantly” or gimmicky more like “Lock ports half the team from DWG market to outside cliff for free cap”?

Is the new improved blast wave like the shaman aoe knockback where you can throw people off the eye of the storm?

Yes, but if you want to knock people off of cliffs just go any spec of shaman. You can have the AoE knockback and a single target knockback via unleash shield on a short cooldown.

Bonus points if Kul’Tiran.

Being extremely overturned isn’t a gimmick. Unless you’re talking about tanks and their ability to ninja/knock.

My vote goes to priests. Mind control can lead to some absolutely insane plays, like throwing people off the map or completely stealing the enemy team’s raid defensives.
