Pet management is important but don’t act like hunter and warlock isn’t an easy class to play lol
I don’t have experience holy / reck yet, so it is hard for me to comment other than it is def a cool spec.
Recently, after the vids I made, I’ve changed up a bit how I play ret reck and made some gear swap macros that help a lot. Basically it works like this:
- Most of time I heal with full t3 + MoM (this way I am building stacks whenever I get crit)
- When it is time to kill EFC I swap my gear to ret reck gear (weapon never swaps so i keep the 4 stacks)
- If nobody is hitting me, or I am taking too much physical dmg, or I need more +healing I can put on healing weapon / shield (but stacks are lost)
With t3 + MoM I feel like I can do like 80-95% of the healing I do as full holy spec. mostly it depends on how good the other team is , and how many casters that can lock down with silence there are (since you lose holy shock the one instant cast heal).
The spec feels cool because it feels like dual spec in which I can be effective at healing but also do a ton of damage whenever I put on all the ret gear.
Glad you enjoyed! ![]()
I’m not pretending that. I never said they were hard. Are you reading the conversation or just stopping to assume intent?
I even explained my thought process approach, to say that I’m looking at a class to do the least damage to others and not what is a simple rotation.
He has been my #1 source of stacks by a significant margin.
He still hasn’t updated for the AV meta though. But when a WSG pops, its on.
