Like, based in lore, characters that represent certain classes, etc.
Which class is the silliest, most offbeat?
Like evokers are super soldiers, I’d imagine they’re very militaristic, no funny business, rough and gruff.
Paladins I’d imagine are also super serious given what they do.
So what class is the LEAST serious (based on lore, and characters representing each class)? I skipped several expansions so I’m not sure, but I’m leaning towards rogue or mage.
I would have to say a very happy Death Knight. Death Knights are known to be the biggest emo drips ever. Until you find them happy and ripping you apart limb by limb in ear boggling delight.
… yikes. Maybe not.
But if they’re not happy in that moment, I’d say mage. Nothing has a more cartoonish approach when you can polymorph most creatures into a pig or duck.
Hunters.
I mean, look at us.

Rogues. Nothing about them is “Rogue-ish” except for the poison use.
Outlaw Rogues are especially ridiculous. They pull a pistol out of their rear ends for a couple of abilities. They crap out gigantic magic dice that decide whether or not they’ll hit harder… or not. They can throw a huge hook at the ground and pull themselves to it. But only on the ground, not at a wall or anything else. Sometimes not even the floor. Sometimes they can’t even throw a giant metal hook at the ground because they’ll miss the floor.
Survival Hunters are a close second. They throw bombs like Looney Toon characters. And they throw them at close range where they’d most likely get hit with as much of the blast as the enemy they chucked the giant cartoon cannonball with a fuse on it at. And to top it all off, they fight in melee range, but have no idea how to use normal sized swords or other normal sized weapons. They can only use overly large weapons, but only one of them at a time. And they don’t gain extra melee range by using them. They can’t stand outside of an enemy’s attack range and poke them. No, they have to walk right up to a dude and then jam the giant spear into them.
That’s a bit of a stretch. Wiley Coyote had a very particular way of deploying TNT or dynamite for Roadrunner.
Their age of animation is “more golden” than WoW’s style. IMO.
There are no silly classes.
If forced to pick one that was the closest, I’d guess Brewmaster Monk just because the whole drunken master thing kind of has a bit of goofiness to it. And because they have been left in a state where choosing to play one is just silly.

You literally get drunk and ignore attacks because of drunken Ox combat style, lmao.

I feel like it’s no real contest, BrM Monk wins by a landslide.
You chuck flaming kegs at people and it burns their eyes so they miss their next attack, lol.

Balance druid form is kind of silly looking. Worgen spell casts in general looks weird.
Outlaw Rogue.
Clown Class hands down.
Then maybe followed distantly by mime.
But… I got flowers 
Evokers are FAILED super soldiers. In reality they’re rainbow-colored geckos who talk about their feelings all day. Definitely the goofiest class.
Brewmaster and it’s not even close
Rogues don’t play by the rules.
Brewmaster it’s always fun and it’s also currently a joke.
Druids are canonically awesome in this regard.
Warriors, specifically Fury.
It unleashes the inner Warhammer Ork in everyone. And they are the silliest of all.
… but I guess a lubed-up Banana-headed Custodes might rival them. They’re either Arms or Prot warriors, no magic there.
Anyhow, it’s warriors.
At least when they let themselves be silly.
I always love it when I see a DK accusing a DH of choosing their class for the “edge” that it has.
Does it get any edgier than an undead death metal fan wearing spiked black platemail? Can you possibly try any harder?
