Which class had least number of buttons in classic?

I’m an idiot, even in retail i sometimes forget about 2-4 skills i have

Casters in classic can use lower level skills… so basically they potentially have double amount. Shamans have millions of totems, so no to them aswell. Warrior leveling is not an easy thing as i’ve heard…

tracking ammo and feed pet, having dead zone, still have mana… No, i’d rather not

Play a mage. Its more like the current class then any classin vanilla.

play mage class for free to play to get a feel of it.

they will also make a great class all around in vanilla. pvp, 5mans, raiding, farming gold, questing, fast xp. they are cool

yeah hunter is pretty easy to level once you get pet or a warlock. and both get accepted into raids but locks get into raids a bit more than hunters for summons and the utility they bring. you don’t have to feed pet with warlock but need to keep track of soul shards so you can summon voidwalker. plus you get basically free mount at 40 which is nice as well

I think rogues have the least amount of abilities/buttons on top of being heavily restrained on how quickly they can chain abilities due to Energy. Less buttons doesn’t mean it’s easier, it just means each of your action is more meaningful.

Most classes have little variety in what they’d usually do in general situations. Exceptions call for a use of more of their kit. PVP will generally need you to make use of your kit much more than PVE will.

It depends on whether you’re asking about PVP, PVE or in general @OP

Mage will do you well, I also think a hunter would do you well. They’re both easy to play, but have high skill ceilings.

Maybe just invest some time into the class you pick. They all have more buttons than retail, so just pick the class you like.

You’ll get use to the increased buttons and other requirements like ammo, reagents, etc

maybe i should just go priest and MC people off the cliffs…

Guides says they’re pretty efficient at leveling and since they’re healers - are always needed. Do i want to heal though. I don’t even know what i want.

Druid does not have too many buttons in any one form. Just refuse to transform and you will be in good shape :wink:

You will still have to down rank spells as a healer, in fact it’s considered even more important than as a dps.

Perhaps Warlock would be a go? Mostly they just use the same Shadow Bolt spell, but don’t have too much issues downranking because they can abuse Life Tap to convert health into mana.

Also really strong at levelling because of pets.

I think rogue is your best option. while they definitely still have choices to make, you’ll settle into two main routines: things that’ll die in one combo rotation, and things that won’t. Both of them together are unlikely to use all your combat skills.

Levelling can be rough though, since they’re squishy.
