I know rogue fits more into that concept but beside of that, what other classes fits into that role?
Also I would like to know if any caster would fit as well

Outlaw Rogue is the pinnacle of Pirate/smuggler and leather has all the good transmogs for it.
Arms/Fury Warrior could fit a Mercenary role.
You could play a Monk with a pirate/smuggler mog and punch things to death with pirate weapons on your back though.
Warlock for mercenary maybe?
I donât see any other class being able to portray what youâre looking for though.
Among the casters only warlock I see it as pirate/smuggler.
Hunter marksman with no pet and gun could fit as pirate as well
Above two posts nailed it, though with the amount of serenity, meditation type spells I am having difficulty seeing monk as smuggler type.
Brewmaster âcouldâ do for pirate I sâpose. Kul Tiran Brewmaster with Heritage mog.
Pretty much any Kul TiranâŚ
Paladins of course. Shifty-eyed Lighties, canât trust them!
But hunters can work too. They donât have to be nature types. You could do a petless marksman hunter. Expert with guns and traps, pirates and mercenaries do use those too.
This or Survival. Donât think Pirates of the Caribbean constantly. Pirates are going to lay traps to get what they want.
Sadly, despite Warmode, hunters canât lay traps that look like nodes or chests. Which would add a lot more fun dynamics to the game.
Kul Tiran Outlaw Rogue. Gender by your favor.
From the requirements you yourself have listed.
Any other answer is wrong.
Unless you left something out.
Caster wise in addition to Warlocks, Mages make decent pirates. In one of my rpâs I played an ice mage as a âSquall-shaperâ to summon winds and storms to aid his crew and fight their enemies.
As for other classes than rogues. I have a Warrior who works well as a pirate and mercenary. A hunter mercenary/bounty hunter and occasional pirate.
I was also going to make an outlaw assassin from Monk but I canât stand the gameplay so he didnât go anywhere, but if you like it go wild. They can get alot of the good non-Rogue leather sets and sheath all 1h swords on their back for that extra rule of cool ninja look!
I like the way You think. Locks looks more badass as pirate than mage in My opinion. Frost Mage looks more like a tidesage than a pirate
Forsaken make good Undead Pirates, lots of folklore on that sort of thing.
But what if a tidesage turns pirate?
As a cursed undead pirate I can confirm this as accurate.
monk would be your ninja / assassin type. and i agree warrior could fill a merc role. druid cat is the outlier. you have the rogue abilities, but you are a druid, a tree hugger. how does one in tune with nature and balance become a morally grey character.
i donât buy locks as a smuggler / merc type. they are more the evil or mad scientist type at best. a lock is a witch or sorcerer.
