So my choices are frost dk or Arms warrior, which class has the easiest time getting 4/5 stars in torghast … before ppl say all of them keep im mind it must be a great pvp arena class aswell … which i belive both frost and arms is … thank you
I have had a really easy time as Frost but I haven’t done a Torghast with Arms yet. Frost I 100% recommend!
I consider DK’s one of the weakest classes for Torghat which is not to say it is impossible or even overly difficult…just that they don’t get anything near as broken as other classes get.
I do not care at all for PvP but my understanding is warrior is better there too.
Heya! Have gotten 5/5 on both on Arms!
Can confirm it was easy
So you want to rule Torghast as Arms.
If you’re going arena memelord you’re either Venthyr or Kyrian, I prefer Venthyr so let’s go with that.
- Sweeping Strikes + Impending Victory.
Take Impending Vixtory over Double Time/Storm Bolt. There’s an anima power, Pleonexian Command, that grants Phantasm for every target hit with Impending Victory/Victory Rush this stacks up quite high to 25/50. It won’t be uncommon that you will end up with near 3,000 phantasm at the end of a single floor. - Unbound Fortitude + Die by the Sword.
Pick up every soul you find. When you gain 2 of the Unbound Fortitude anima and with enough souls: Arms becomes immune to Physical Damage you are not immortal to Magic, AoE, or Traps however but you could basically pull an entire floor (Just do not get backstabbed, you cannot parry from behind). - CONDEMN GOES BRRRRRR.
Voracious Culling Blade + Pridebreaker’s Anvil. You get both of these, literally NOTHING can win in a 1v1 against you. If you find VCB immediately change your gameplay style to condemn anything and everything. Condemn jars, mice, etc. Heres a funny interaction: Equip the Second Wind talent. Condemn’s damage reduction barrier is a weird absorb, if the enemy cannot break through your Condemn absorb (this counts magic too) or is parried infinitely with Die by the Sword your Second Wind will kick in and heal you to full within seconds.
Arms is hilarious.
lmao.
@ Foxhound thank you so much appreciate ya this helps alot BTW what race is the best looking for arms warrior tauren or orc
Not sure how hunters are in PvP since I don’t do it much, but Torghast is a faceroll on them.
All gear looks way better on orcs who actually get mostly proper proportions on their gear (minus shoulders which is honestly a meme at this point).
Think I even read somewhere once that orcs are the first/default Horde race gear gets modeled on/for.
If Arms isn’t your cup of tea just go Blood DK. Solo tanks in Torghast fight very squishy enemies to account for your “no damage” this will be hilarious.
- Build Death’s Certainty (Unholy legendary but roll with me here).
- Use the Hemostasis talent.
- Enchant your weapon with Rune of Sanguination.
- Find Rune Hunter anima.
- Stack Skull Bloomer anima.
Congratulations: your Death Strike will now deal up to 200% damage based on your target’s missing health, one shot anything that had the audacity to breath within the same postal code, and heal you for any and all damage done.
lmao.
Ran with a group of guildies to finish up our TC before 9.1 hit. They had no idea how strong Arms was with these two powers.
I just sat there spamming Condemn yelling in Discord “SIT DOWN! SIT DOWN!! SIT DOWN!!”
Everyone dying laughing as the big mean boss just goes to the floor each time I hit them. thump thump thump … from 100 - 0.
I can solo anything.
Funny that a large pack of meager casters is more of a threat than any Boss once you get those two powers.
This is super relatable. Am Kyrian but the observation is the same. Mobs are way harder than the bosses for us
I’m sorry, I have to ask. Is your Frost DK a gnome also?
My DK is also a cute smallie! It’s a dwarf
But I have many, many other gnomes as well!
Out of all the characters I have fury warrior is by far easier in torghast than any of the other specs I play.
I prefer Orc, standing upright might ruin some mogs, but those are bugs they should be fixed.
I mean I’m a Warrior Vulpera, you just gotta know how to style: https://imgur.com/YvrDJse
@Foxhound do u have a discord i can message u at ?
Locks have an easy solo. Great anima powers and a threat grabbing minion. The added benefit is that you can always have a soulstone active, which if you’re going for a timer, comes in handy. You don’t have to run far after your one consequence free death.
I promise you, all specs can do it solo.
Play the spec you like the most
tbh all classes can if your skilled enough but easiest are probably paladin, hunter and warlock
I mow through it with a Blood DK. Never tried it as a group.
