Which class or spec or both would best fit for a blood elf?

Fire Mage.

Def paladin or fire mage. But hunter works too. Priest is a close 4th.

My first ever blood elf character was a warlock, but that’s because all my characters at the time were warlocks, as it was the only class I wanted to play. I think some sort of caster is ideal though.

Mage or priest, to be honest. Blood elves in my opinion though are physically and aesthetically very pleasing as casters.

Destro lock, fire mage, ret paladin and marksman hunter.

Blood Elf - Mage
Orc - Warrior
Troll - Shaman
Undead - Rogue
Tauren - Druid
Goblin- Priest

I think warrior, mage, priest, paladin, warlock, hunter, and rogue would be a good fit. For some belves demon hunter would also be appropriate.

I’d say mage or hunter fits blood elves the best.

Hunter and Mage is the most iconic belf class.
