Which caster has the best spell animation in your opinion?

Kind of a subjective question but IMO probably Holy Paladin even though I don’t like Paladins. They just got really cool updates and when you pop wings its super dope

Warlock / Shadow Priests > Mages > Ele Shaman > everything else

I like the animations for a lot of shaman spells, but based on racial animations, probably dwarf or undead.

Actually I do not like warlock spell animations. Chaos Bolt is the exception

Shadow priests void eruption thing I feel like Sylvanas when she do that cool void/banshee power scream

I agree. I used to like Warlock animations, but after they made a majority of the spells look like crap, it really turned me off to it.

Yes they look weak. Fire mage looks more threating than destro lock

Chain lightning has one of the most satisfying spell animations in the game to me, especially when popping back to back instant cast from stormkeeper on a large pack

Frost mage has good spell animations. Ray of frost is my favorite

edit: hate the giant glacier spike thing…hate it

Frost spells looks very weak. It looks like a child throwing snowballs.

Actually glacial Spike looks decent

Elemental has been my main alt for a while because they look so freaking cool.

The Warlock is my favorite class but I really love the Shadow Priest spell animations.

Demo Lock is the best are you kidding. You throw a meteor that explose on your target and summon an army of imps that shoot green fire then you summon 2 dogs that come from the floor and jump on your target while your Demonic Tyrant and Felguard are wrecking your enemy. Oh and you shoot a fireball.

Well, I don’t know about best but the most horrifying is a gigantic chicken pushing his/her arms out and all you see is a large blue circle coming towards you. Starsurge is real and it is scary. I vote boomkin.

I really like both druid and shaman casting animations. For druid, the hands down ready stance is awesome, as are the animations where you look like you’re pulling vines/roots up from the ground (like for wild growth).

For shamans, lava burst is easily one of my favorite animations in the game and reminds me a lot of the avatar the last airbender series. I love pulling rocks and dirt up from the ground, combining them together and heating them into lava, then throwing the ball of molten rock at my target =P

Fire mage spells are not that good looking, but when you pop off and chain them it basically looks like a flamethrower. I like flamethrowers. Not sure how I didn’t set my house on fire yet.

Actually I don’t like shaman spells. With exception of chain lightning, the other spells look lame specially lava burts
