Where's Voss's story?

So Voss’s entire storyline is essentially doing this to the Scarlet Crusade and Cult of the Damned;

And there isnt a book about it? This is criminal. The ‘Sunday Night With The Preacher’s Daughter’ bits write themselves.

She put Gandling and Whitemane in their place. The grave. She’s hunted necromancere across worlds.

You could have the Mag’Har venerate her as the Lightslayer. Maybe she was doing this for generations until getting bored and leaving:

So much potential.

Also her and Calia should be in a relationship if we’re doing the time skip. Think of the representation. And the fanart.

Also while I’m at it, Faranell should have a synthwave boss fight in whatever passes for the Apothecarium.

Replete with leper gnomes playing keytars!!!

I want more Voss story, but could do without the “ship”. I’m still trying to cope with the most recent marriage announcement.

I agree Voss deserves a book.

Another character who deserves multiple books is Hemet Nesingwary. The man has multiple in game books.

The Green Hills of Stranglethorn
Hills Like White Elekk
The Snows of Northrend

Those are all real in game books inspired by the writings of Ernest Hemingway and his books irl. They could totally write these books and sell them. I’d buy them.

There are a lot of stories they could tell with books, but for some reason they seem to only want to focus on a few characters and a “main story” over expanding the world. It didn’t used to be that way, I wonder what changed?

Voss deserves a book AND a unique model.

I never thought about shipping her and Calia together, but I wouldn’t be mad about that either.

It’s just amusing to me because she’s the only Forsaken without a middling to hostile opinion of Calia.

And it just reminds me so much of a friend of mine turning up with her new ex-Mormon girlfriend she met at rehab.

Yeah - I know - but just give her a chance she’s really cool once you get to know her

I would absolutely buy a Lilian Voss book. There are so many unanswered questions about her past. As for the ship I dunno but I guess I’m biased because of Baal’s idea that she might be Calia’s lost daughter.

I don’t think that tracks with the timeline or tone. She mentions hearing Benedictus Voss preaching and I do think there was absolutely going to be a subplot with him, Calia and Voss cut for time in SL.

Seriously getting to the Shadowlands is shown to be a truly remarkable feat but Voss turns up there like she took a cab. And then Sindane seems to know them.

I think that was going to show Calia the extent of the living’s hatred for the undead. Because as Voss just brushed aside the comment I genuinely think she was going to surprise her with him. Not knowing of course she ripped the man’s head clean off her shoulders.

Which Voss? The one currently rotting in Desmotaeron?

Jk. Yeah, I agree. I think they have something in store for her.

It better be good. Ive somewhere in the range of 22 undead characters. Not toons. They all have backstories and personalities and I will gnaw your ear off talking about them like a single mom talking about her kids.

Which is a fun way of saying I saw Lilian Voss get the utter crap kicked out of her too many times to count. I didn’t play WoD or a Rogue in Legion. So I just presumed this character had met her end in Scholomance. Dying in the most undignified and agonizing way a Forsaken can. For years.

I wouldve hugged her if it wherein my power when I saw her on the Widow’s Wail. Because from my perspective this was a character whod done nothing wrong just being scared, angry then tortured to death again and again and again.

I think so, too. And I find it extremely annoying that they have Benedictus Voss there in the Maw without any further story or interaction with his daughter.

I’m not sure about the timeline tbh but I thought Baal’s theory could make sense because if she wasn’t his biological daughter it might explain why she was always meant to be turned into a “weapon” and then immediately sentenced to death upon becoming undead. Quite cruel for someone who was once known for his edifying sermons.

If there’s anyone who deserves the Maw it’s Benedictus Voss.

We are in agreement.

He can rot in the maw alongside his buddy Garithos. Bunk buddies for eternity

May as well ship them together also.

But no one is going to the Maw anymore. Sylvanas is going to work on freeing everyone already there and apparently no one will ever be sent there again according to the end of Shadowlands.

I’m well aware of that.

I’m still convinced he also murdered her in the first place.

The rest of the newbies in Deathknell know how they died and understand whats happened. They might not be happy about it but they’re not confused.

Except for Voss. Who hides believing herself to be behind enemy lines until you show her a mirror. Where upon she promptly takes of screaming into the woods.

Because before she came back the only mental healthcare professional the Forsaken had was Psylosopher Beerot.

My official diagnosis is that you are both idiots! IDIOTS I SAY!

I would love more Voss. It’s still weird to me that Valeera got a unique model before Voss when Valeera doesn’t do anything in the game.

Voss was awesome in Cata questing, as she tore through the Scarlet camps, burning them all alive :dracthyr_nod:
