Does anyone know what happened to Utok Scratcher? His current whereabouts is unknown which means he could be alive somewhere in azeroth but Blizzard hasn’t made it confirmed that he’s dead or alive.

Tagar and Bovan returned to the story, albeit in different manners, so its in the realm of possibility. Though it is theorized that Utok died during the Seige on the Capital City.
He was probably thrown into a trash bin labelled “Name too stupid to be brought up again.”

The Second war was some time ago at this point. It’s possible he’s dead from any conflict involving the Horde from then till now,… or just from old age.

Not sure, but I’d like to see him in-game. Especially after seeing how much he was there for WC2.
Always like when they make deep-cut pulls like that. That said, still waiting for Samuro to do something besides be a HotS character. Would be great for the blademasters to be more of an actual thing in WoW.

Well darn. I guess that really does suck that Utok died. Here I thought I was going to listen to the Great Orc’s Stories like this version of him.

Don’t fret, I didn’t mean to sound definite, it’s still possible he’s still alive. If he does, he’ll likely just be fairly old.

He is in Lore Limbo with other characters such as
Archimonde (see the whole “mythic version is canon but so is the cinematic” debate)
Goriona - last seen flying away from the Skyfire during the Warmaster Blackhorn encounter
Serinar - last seen at the Obsidian Dragonshrine during Wrath
Furywing, Rivendark and Insidion. - given that Obsidia was later used in Cata, this calls into question their fates.
And many other characters Blizzard has forgotten over the years.
