Wait for daily reset

yesterday was also daily reset but no world quests

Looks like the world quests have a much lower refresh rate than previous. Probably to alleviate the amount of “busywork” you needed to do every day in other expansions.

world quests were a success in every expansion they shouldve made more

Pretty sure they are on weekly timers now, or at least bi-weekly. I hit max on Tuesday, did everything, and nothing new has shown up since between maybe 1-2 blue rare WQs.

They aren’t like the Legion/BFA/SL ones. Many of them take several days to a week to reset. So if you have fully map-cleared you might have to wait until tomorrow or the next day for some of them (not all of them) to pop back up.

If you are looking for something to do in the open world there are repeatable rep-farms I think. I know Wrathon and Sabellian have infinitely repeatable stuff that is completely uncapped. I’m sure there is other stuff too.

I for one am happy for this. I’m happy to just log on, take a quick glance at WQs I want to do as opposed to having to do, and be like, “Wow! I forgot I can just log on and…play the game!”

I’m happy I can look at my Renown and realize that it’s something I can do if I want, as opposed to nerfing my own character if I don’t do it.

i did the first key it gave me 1000 rep

i did a second and only 250 rep. lot of mobs grinded. t

People complained they had to do always do them and that they were less friendly than dailies. Even though it’s painfully obvious that blizz designed rep/power gains (from WQs) to be comparable to when we had only dailies. And it also explains why we started to see more dailies from 8.2 onwards. Just a bunch of luddites complaining about new things.

There’s nothing power-related to grind so world quests have been de-emphasized. There’s a weekly quest to get 4000 rep but that can come from a variety of activities including side quests you missed while leveling so you don’t need to just grind world quests to finish it.

Same problem, its pretty barren. So we go from world quests to flying all over looking for items to gain xxxx/4000? Other than a few daily quests there isnt another way to get that completed is there? We will run out of side quests at some point.

I dont see it being empty forever. My guess is it is their way of getting people out to do things other than WQs right off the bat and forget about content.

Its not a terrible idea if it is but dont tell me what to do Blizz! You’re not my Dad!

Some players complained that WQs took too much time and they felt like they had to do them every day or fall behind.

In response to this feedback, Blizzard made WQs last longer and reset less often. This way you can login once every 3 days and not miss any WQs. In the beta, new WQs came out biweekly (Friday evening and Tuesday reset).

Personally, I preferred WQs as we had them in Legion and BFA. Quick to do, tons of them, and they reset daily.
