Poop quests are a time honored tradition in WoW, yet I cannot recall having done one this expansion. Did I just miss them somehow?
No you didn’t miss them , they pretty much all were this expansion

Shadowlands does not have a poop quest.
Shadowlands is considered by many (not all) players to be a sub-par expansion.
Coincidence? I think not!

We’re in a quest to release the souls of the departed from unholy bondage and stuff like that.
The key word here is departed.
Of course there’s no poop quest. Dead critters don’t poop.
If you want an actual answer, I bet ya the muck in Revendreth has plenty of poop in it, so everything related to Dredgers are poop.
Why do you think Stewards are constantly scrubbing spots on the floor? While they are helpful birds… birds will still be birds.

They crammed several poop “quests” into achievements in Castle Nathria.
The Poop quest is giving your shaman friend hope and then ripping it out from them by nerfing them in an absolutely astounding manner and lying about the reason.

Let it gooooo. Imagine playing a shaman and being surprised by nerfs. Remember Nathria, you didn’t even have a legendary for a month!

Still, there’s usually a transparent quest, be it regular quest, WQ, daily, etc.
