Doubtless this question has been asked and answered elsewhere but I’m only an intermittent presence these days so here we go again.
Is there a kind of neutral RP spot where walk-ups are common, like the faction capitals (and Silvermoon) are for the Alliance and Horde communities?
What with the elixir of tongues it’s kind of a golden age of cross-faction RP, at least compared to how the game’s been for most of its life, so I’m curious about this. I see cross-faction events advertised on the forums here fairly often, and discord communities, but I’m curious if there’s a spot in the game world where those of us who are just generally done with this faction nonsense congregate to meet folks and make connections.
And if not, should we start one?

The Howling Owl tavern in pandaria is the best one I can come up with.

Dawns Blossom in Pandaria is your best bet really.
I am also part of a community that meets up every Tuesday at 7 server time just north of there in Greenstone village if you want to check that out.
I’ve seen a little bit of RP in Legion Dalaran recently but I’m not sure if that was open to neutral or not.
I’ve always wanted to see more RP in Booty Bay and Moonglade though.

I’m praying Oriboros has a spot, but history has shown that people don’t like to abandon the tried-and-trues, so I’m not counting on it.

Seradane in the Hinterlands if you’re feeling Elvish would be cool
complete blanks on Kalimdor locations…Theramore crater?
Booty Bay would be incredible, I’m shocked people aren’t already using it. It’s travel-accessible for a wide range of characters both IC and OOC and has a ton of plot potential on top of that.

Speaking of cross-faction RP, is that addon still working? I don’t think it’s been updated?
Legion Dalaran seems to be blossoming into something. I usually see two people RPing there whenever I pass through. Granted, they could be friends already who just went there together but that’s a good environment for folks starting to show up on their own.

Cross RP has still been working for the last few months, although it’s features have changed a bit. One nice thing is that it gives you a reminder to renew the Elixir. It also helps with reading profiles cross-faction.
EDIT: one thing that makes a viable non-aligned RP hub for walkups more difficult is the removal of a lot of the portals from the non-capital cities such as Dalaran. There’s just not as much passing-through-town as there used to be.

I have seen random RP from time to time in Legion Dalaran and in Booty Bay, so those’d be the closest the neutral “hubs” that I’d know of.
Unrelated but you look much better with your bones firmly inside where they belong imo.

Haha thank you! Tbh I’m so glad for it. Long story short I didn’t like the idea of a Forsaken DK who died twice so… strictly speaking Sarestha’s a human DK who, when faced with the choice, joined the Forsaken voluntarily in the same way as Koltira Deathweaver did. She was a human of Lordaeron, a former Scarlet Crusader. I had no desire to send her to Stormwind - she had no connection to the place!
But because she only died once, ICly she’s always been quite well preserved anyway! The bone removal is honestly so cool - allows for greater accuracy to Sarestha’s imagined appearance!
Amusingly though, my cape still has a hole in it where my spine used to go. RIP.
