It would be lovely to have this, but this is currently not in the game. Sorry.
It’s on the cutting room floor. Who knows if Blizzard will ever actually implement it.
I’m thinking that if they haven’t implemented it by now (it’s still not implemented in 8.1 so far), then it’s probably not happening before 8.3.5.
I would like to see this actually get implemented, though.
It’s not like it’s hard to implement, FFS. It’s literally copying and pasting code from hiding any other slot and changing a few strings. One of the development tasks it IS appropriate to put interns on.
What’s so insulting about BFA is they have all this content front loaded, but they’re putting it out for us on a drip feed, presumably with the greasy intention of keeping us on the hook for longer. Even though this is probably 100% finished and functional, we won’t see it until 8.3 or something, when their PR muppets will be able to tout it as an exciting new feature.
Same with paragon rep rewards, same with frog mounts, same with a dozen other things that were obtainable or datamined in beta but never saw the light of day at launch.
Unbelievable. Surprise, it has the opposite effect, and I’m on the verge of quitting this trashfest of an expansion.
Spot on, Sadly. Unfortunately they have been doing this since day one. I wish they would just fix a system and actually implement a cool new feature or content instead of slow rolling everything.
All items should have a hide function, and xmog is not implying you have the item on (Artifacts), only that you magically are changing the appearance so who cares about spec, item type, or lore? Just let us look how we want to look.
Firstvwelcone to an mmo, while the give you plenty you stuff tondo currently they keep you sunscibed by drip feeding you more content. This provides you the ability to progress over time and keep you subscibed.
Also, blizz has come out and even the posters of data mining on wowhead tell you nothing youbsee is guaranteed to come to the game. Just because you see something in data mining it may not be working properly, or they are saving itnfor soemthing special.
Mmos have progressed alot over the years, but it is always going to be a gear treadmill and theybtrybto give you enough to do to keep you subscibed. They avilabke content will always last varying amounts of time for different players because ofnhow much youndo or do not have to play.
